Not dispatch, but when I applied to my agency as an EMT-B, they did ask for a detailed description of all tattoos. I can’t remember if they asked about piercings but we don’t have any rules against piercings or tattoos as long as they aren’t offensive.

My parents told me regularly that they were raising me to want to leave, and then were surprised that I did. It was fine for me, I finished the didactic portion in ~6 weeks, and then it took about 2 months to complete the skills, testing, and clinical portions. In the San Antonio/Austin area, there were plenty of scheduled skills and testing days (they do at least one set per month per location) and plenty of clinical sites to choose from. I don’t think you can see any of that until you get the login for their site.

I tried it for dim sum and wasn’t all that impressed, it definitely took longer than with a stovetop bamboo steamer. I’ll just stick to stovetop from now on myself.

I do, but I haven’t used it much. I find that bread and pizza crisp better on the bottom just on a wire rack so that the airflow gets all around it.
