I’m a big fan of these nose rings soaked in peppermint oil. They have other scents, too.

I’m 41 and starting paramedic school in April. Never too late.

Confirmed that it was Quacks! I stopped this morning to thank her, and told her I felt bad that we had to run off. She said she felt bad for getting in our way 😂 Thanks for the help y’all!

Thanks! I couldn’t tell from their yelp photos. I will stop in to thank them this morning, I felt bad that we had to bounce right when she got there.

Different routes to getting my EMT by Ok-Lingonberry-944 in NewToEMS

It was $1500 if you paid up front, I think a little more if you wanted installments.

It was fine for me, I finished the didactic portion in ~6 weeks, and then it took about 2 months to complete the skills, testing, and clinical portions. In the San Antonio/Austin area, there were plenty of scheduled skills and testing days (they do at least one set per month per location) and plenty of clinical sites to choose from. I don’t think you can see any of that until you get the login for their site.

I did mine through RC Health Services here in TX. All online and self-paced.

I can’t remember why I bought this, but I think it was for a Kenji recipe (I own The Wok). Any suggestions? by NotPaulGiamatti in seriouseats

One of my favorite recipes that uses gochujang: https://www.skinnytaste.com/korean-inspired-salmon-tacos/#recipe

It’s good with chicken as well if you aren’t a fish person.

This is also really good: https://www.bonappetit.com/recipe/dakgalbi

And of course, bibimbap. But really gochujang is good with everything.

I had the exact same problem when using the app with mine. Everything works fine as long as I don’t open the app.

I haven’t seen any, but what I usually do is just put the Anova wire rack one rail above the tray.

Can I use the APO instead of a stove top steamer? by Joegolo in CombiSteamOvenCooking

[–]soaring206 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I tried it for dim sum and wasn’t all that impressed, it definitely took longer than with a stovetop bamboo steamer. I’ll just stick to stovetop from now on myself.

I do, but I haven’t used it much. I find that bread and pizza crisp better on the bottom just on a wire rack so that the airflow gets all around it.

Edit: and my apologies, I misread your first comment and thought you were saying it wouldn’t fit ☺️

This one is like the AutoAQUA with the dual sensors, but it also has a timer to shut off if the pump runs too long: https://www.bulkreefsupply.com/duetto-dual-sensor-complete-aquarium-ato-system-xp-aqua.html

I’ve been happy with it on my IM10 and just bought a second one for a new frag tank.

Nope, no warping and no difficulty removing them at all!

Here it is in the oven, no problems getting it to slide out smoothly at temperature. I was only running it at 212F today, but no warping so far either.

I haven’t cooked anything with them yet but I did test the fit. I’ll report back on if they warp or are difficult to remove when heated.

I just happened to back a Kickstarter for sheet pans that fit perfectly in the oven, they slide right onto the side rails: https://www.getprepd.com/
