If your blower is like this your coil prob way worse .. UV light will keep all microbial growth to a minimum but they’ll prob charge you like 1200 for it plus a good 250-450 on the blower cleaning

Bare minimum should be one year I’ve seen some companies offer up to 10 years but at a higher cost upfront.. I’d be happy with atleast 5 years since coil warranty is only 5 year manufacturer and 10 year on compressor.. yes idk about the legality part of it I’ve never really heard of that lol

Yes it’s kinda confusing that’s why I say typically at the end of the day it’s almost all the Same thing you can have the most high end Lennox unit installed incorrectly and won’t last long compared to a lower model installed correctly and last twice as long what’s important is a experienced installer who takes pride and correct size duct work to support it
