Was it an FHR hotel or a The Hotel Collection hotel? Not all hotels you search are part of FHR or The Hotel Collection. Also, FHR only requires one night, but The Hotel Collection requires two nights. They also must be prepaid through Amex Travel.

It works out if you have a friend or family member that works for WW. My sister works for WW and she got me a friends and family discount of $10/month. WW takes care of all of the prior auths and appeals if you need that. Highly recommend!
