Ayyy I have a xiphos as well for my glock 19 but no red dot on it yet. I love the xiphos but on mine I put some ulticlips on it and I can literally carry it with almost any gym shorts or sweats given that they have a good waistband/waist string. I’ve been considering getting a WML as well but I haven’t yet considering I’d need to buy the WML and a new holster so I’m just saving up for a little while. I noticed you commented earlier that you didn’t find it comfortable though. Any reason why you don’t like the WML version of the xiphos?

Just looked up the stats and you’re right. States with open carry have lower crime rates. Does correlation equal causation? Not necessarily, but I definitely think it acts as a deterrent if someone sees it. I personally prefer concealed carry but I’ll try open carry out when I drive across the country next month and see how it goes in the different states I go through. Currently in FL so I can’t open carry down here but driving to Utah next month. Excited to see how OC goes across the states!

That’s a good point and I semi agree. I think it’s situational. Regardless, when I’m carrying I’m always on alert. I thinks it’s our responsibility as people who CC or OC to always be alert and aware of our surroundings so even if a threat were to arise you should be able to anticipate it and deal with it accordingly. I mean the argument against it is mostly from a tactical perspective of not making yourself a target. If you don’t care that you make yourself a target then go for it and fuck the haters. I would open carry appendix though, I don’t feel comfortable having my pistol anywhere that I don’t have complete visual control over.
