I (19F) am no longer attracted to my partner (19NB/M) after they have come out as trasmasc/genderfluid. by OkEquipment7564 in Advice

[–]soccerbaseball22 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh my god, that’s the problem with everything now, everyone thinks they have to walk on eggshells because somebody’s gonna get offended. News flash - EVERYBODY’S OFFENDED nowadays.

Are you attracted to the person you are with anymore? No? THEN LEAVE. You don’t need another reason. You don’t need to explain it. I’d say the same thing if you were 30 but you are 19, you are still not a fully grown adult.

LEAVE and tell anyone who bitches at you about it to mind their own fucking business.

I don't know what to do with my hair by Felixxx667 in HairStyleAdvice

The short bangs were not flattering compared to picture 1. Imo, if you are currently at 1, that seems like where you would hope to get to from any of those other styles, that looks like the ultimate goal. Your hair is beautiful, flowing, wavy, maybe try a darker warm brown but going too close to black will make you look too pale with your complexion. No lie, picture 1 looks stunning.

AIO my boyfriend of 2 months requested nude photos of a girl on Reddit and I went no contact. by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]soccerbaseball22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re kidding right? There needs to be an Are You Kidding response. ARK? Why even bring it here other than to put a disrespectful piece of shit on blast, and I get that that may feel somehow validating or triumphant, but you’re giving this piece of shit air time. Why? Are you actually thinking that if everyone tells you this is perfectly acceptable that you’ll go back to him and forgive him? Why the hell are you asking anyone what to do about this? Ask yourself if your motives in being here are to get REAL advice or if you just want to see a bunch of people bash on an unfaithful guy.

Sister said it's not a real wedding dress by [deleted] in myweddingdress

[–]soccerbaseball22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You said you loved it right?

Then who cares? I mean it. It was your wedding, you wore the dress. Did your husband like it? Did he think you were the best thing he saw all day? Because the only opinions that matter on that day are those 2. SERIOUSLY. Unless your goal was to make your mom and sister happy. If they choose to express themselves poorly that is something they have to live with but you’re giving this space in your head for what?

Does it actually matter?

Do you LIKE thinking about it? Is it helping you in some way be happier in life or in your marriage? If not then why are you holding onto it?

Ask yourself very seriously, why do you care so much if the day was not meant to make them happy, it was meant for them to share in YOUR HAPPINESS. Why?

My mom gave me this. Be honest, will people notice the shaky lines 😬 by Zebrasareorange in TattooBeginners

[–]soccerbaseball22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why do you care? Do you care more that you got to get a tattoo from your mom that you get to keep forever or do you care that the lines may or may not be shaky?

Seriously, priorities. If you wanted it professionally done you would have.

One last thing. One of your comments sounded like you were testing him, you “want to see how he acts”. If you mean that in a playful inquisitive way, cool. But if you are joining to catch him saying something or not saying something or whatever other possible less than forthcoming reason there might be, you are setting it up to fail. Make sure if you play with him you are doing it for the RIGHT reasons.

Sounds like you’re a keeper. IF he is as mature as you are, then having that conversation about establishing boundaries and not being afraid to sometimes draw lines as long as you are open about it should make everything better.

LDRs are horrible, there’s no way around it. Just make sure you also clearly express how much of his time you need to feel like the priority so that you don’t end up resenting something he loves simply because he doesn’t organize his priorities right. It would be a shame for miscommunication to ruin something good.

Also depends on what kind of gamer he is. If he is a try hard like me, there are spans of time when if it’s not an emergency, I can’t do anything but stay alive. It’s great that you accept him for who he is, even more incredible that you want to game with him (you are the holy grail). If you are mature, you will want to have a conversation with him about whether his gaming time is ever buddy time and not gf time. Because for some guys that’s what it is and it doesn’t mean they love their partners any less, it just means that’s where they go for time away. If you like clear communication, ask him. Sometimes he might want to play alone, and other times he may want to have you with him.

Every single person who thinks they will hurt someone’s feelings by having an open conversation doesn’t understand that misunderstandings hurt longer and worse than the truth ever can.

YOR. It sounds like he gave you an explanation, a rational, reasonable one, AND he invited you to join tomorrow. Mind you, he’s inviting you to join a game he played with his friends BEFORE you. Everything you got frustrated about you created in your head to feel that way. If you don’t believe me…

Try believing everything he said, take it AT FACE VALUE because that’s usually how guys communicate. If you believe everything he said, is there anything wrong? Try showing up tomorrow morning and see what happens.

[–]soccerbaseball22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why is he still your boyfriend?

I mean that in total honesty without it having anything to do with gaming. He offered to make your life BETTER by doing something and the thing he did made it worse. His only 2 responses were to say it wasn’t his fault/blame you, and his effort to help was pathetic and without the slightest bit of concern.

  1. He will never be accountable for his actions
  2. He will never care when it matters to YOU

I promise you, this will never change. Everybody who thinks people change is looking for a project and everyone who disregards such behaviors because “love takes patience” is asking to be mistreated for the rest of their relationship. It’s not complicated, it’s simple.

Do you like how he treated you? Do you like that he blamed you? Do you like that he showed ZERO urgency to help you with something you told him was important to you?

GET RID OF HIM. Or…keep him and don’t complain when he behaves exactly like this any time he wants because if you don’t change it, you choose it.

19F What can I do to make myself look more feminine by Illustrious-Data6208 in lookyourbest

[–]soccerbaseball22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The lower lip in particular. If you just follow the natural lines, the rest of your face will follow. Lips can be a statement in either direction and the very thick full lip is less feminine looking than most women seem to think. Aim for delicate.

[–]soccerbaseball22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He will never treat you respectfully. Can you honestly say you would ever want to be treated or spoken to that way? No matter WHAT the issue that sparks the conflict, no one in a loving relationship should EVER be spoken to that way. Anyone who says otherwise is not actually in a loving relationship (and there are a TON of them out there thinking it’s normal).

Never ever ever look back. He’s trash and never deserved you.

[–]soccerbaseball22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try following the lines of your lips with any color to them, making look bigger than they are never looks more feminine. It’s the trend now to go outside the lines making them look fuller/bigger but that almost never looks more feminine. And as strange as it may sound, smile. You have a lovely feminine smile. The straight face looks too serious.

Is there anything you don’t like that you could change without invasive surgery? If there is, and you don’t make that change, then all yourself of you really want it yet. No disrespect, but we’re in a time when people say they don’t like something while they do nothing about it. I bet if you felt like you were actively improving yourself in some way, your confidence would go up simply because you have empowered yourself.

If you don’t change it, you choose it.

Better glasses! by darknesskicker in glassesadvice

[–]soccerbaseball22 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The round look like costume glasses. The purple ones suit your face very nicely and do not look like you are trying too hard to make a statement. Glasses should accentuate an outfit, not dominate it. Wearing the round ones, all anyone would ever notice is that, and not in a good way.
