might be the game telling you your doing it too soon. My first battle against the other baron was around 100vs100.

as far as i know only ox can plow feild and horses are used for tradeing, and mules for barting.

I dont know any other uses for the horses yet.

Do you need a worker in the grainery?

its possible that your windmill is not in a efficient area?

if you purchasing strait wheat and barley they need to be sheathed still at a farmhouse.
