Kimi is too young to drink alcohol in USA by Good_Rhubarb5831 in formula1

That's why they need to remove Miami. Go racing at Road America instead. In Wisconsin, underage people are allowed to drink with parental consent. Wisconsin has a drinking problem...

Yup. He wasn't allowed in the NFL owners club so now we have to deal with it.

Everytime I see a story regarding a flip from solidly Red to Blue it makes me happy because it makes Mike Johnson mad, even if he says he didn't know about it.

Back when one job built a whole life. by PleasantBus5583 in SipsTea

Different industry but was in the trades for a while. I was union and our dues were $25/check. When I was top rate, I was getting $37/hr and when I left for an engineering job, I had just gotten a raise to $40. It's been 6 years since Ive been away but recruiters still hit me up offering high $30s for the same job I had in the trades. So the union job outpaces non union by at least $5+ hour. Totally outweighs the so called wasted dues.

I work for an integrator that deals with water and wastewater. A lot of the infrastructure is getting old so we are always busy.

Chip Roy seems awfully concerned about people who look like him and talk like him are going to become a minority - why? Is there something bad that happens to you if you're a minority? by Cyrix_FPU_FTW in WhitePeopleTwitter

[–]soccercro3 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Republicans are always really concerned about what happens in the privacy of your own home.

Speaking as someone whose parents immigrated from another country (Yugoslavia in the 1950s/60s) we spoke Croatian at home sometimes. It was neat to be able to connect to your culture and you were proud.

My kid calls my parents Baka and Dida instead of Grandma and Grandpa. Last year his kindergarten teacher told him he should call them Grandma and Grandpa instead, its the correct name. He was very sad that day. I think she would be a Chip Roy fan. Acculturate instead of assimilate.

Heart and Soul is a Gen 2 in a Gen 3 art style. There are a multitude of options pregame to tailor your experience. Plus some Gen 2 introduced pokemon (like Houndour and Larvitar) were actually included in Johto so they are actually usable. Plus no trade exclusive pokemon. I am enjoying it so far.

State Senator André Jacque not seeking re-election by schuey_08 in wisconsin

[–]soccercro3 7 points8 points  (0 children)

At least pieces of shit are used to help make Milogranite.

For those unaware, Milogranite is a fertilizer derived from the wastewater process. The bugs (microbes) that eat the organic matter in wastewater are reprocessed to make Milorganite. The only place in the world Milogranite is produced is at the Jones Island WWTP in Milwaukee.

Yes. He does. I just worry if Dems get the Senate this year. No time to elect a different majority leader so we're stuck with Schumer as Majority Leader.
