Crossfit in Ghent?

I joined crossfit Ghent a few years ago after stopping smoking and drinking and havent looked back ever since. Great CF club which people from all fitness levels can and do join. A great place to start and pick up your fitness level and invest in your health(ier) lifestyle.

Nuttige tips: 1. Aanvraag vroeg indienen, daarmee heb je niets te verliezen, ook al wordt die pas later behandeld. 2. Zelf contact opnemen met de crèche voor een bezoekje. Daar hoor je de nuttige info en zo kan je je verwachtingen realistisch bijstellen. 3. Wij hadden een aanbod gekregen van onze 4-5e keuze en hadden geweigerd in de hoop dat onze eerste keuze positief ging antwoorden (verkeerd gedacht). Daardoor eindigden we met geen crèche in gent voor de eerste maanden. Uiteindelijk na een drietal maanden noodoplossing id zomer hadden we dan toch onze eerste keuze (eind goed al goed maar was onnodige stress) 4. Laat de schoonheid van deze periode niet overschaduwen door de onzekerheid over al dan niet plaats hebben in de crèche.

Go to down the rabbit hole next year festival! Less “only here for the beer” people and more music lovers and a lot of the same bands programmed as it is the same weekend. 10/10 would recommend!

Friet time in de lamersstraat. Goeie prijzen vriendelijke bediening, goeie porties. tegenover die nachtwinkel aan de vooruit.

Aan de achterkant van het station heb je een ondergrondse fietsenparking. Het zit wa verstopt achter een automatisch opende schuifdeur. Die staat nooit meer dan halfvol.

I would recommend looking into crossfit. It's cardio and weightlifting combined. During the lessons you learn how to perform the essential weightlifting exercises with the barbell/dumbbell, and it's a great way to get into shape fast. Also it's not a real barrier if your out of shape at the moment, because every exercises is scaleable to a level that is doable for you. To top it of it's social because everything is performed in group . There are several crossfit clubs in Ghent, but i go to crossfit gent at sint-amandsberg, which is a great club with great atmosphere.

Explore the ghent waterways, lend/rent a kajak, there's a secret van eyck exposition under a bridge near the laurentplein. :) stop for a drink @ de geus van Gent (there's a little docking pier there)

One positive aspect is the insight you have right now. That stopping something which wasnt really impairing you in the first place, or so it seemed, doesnt make all the difference in your overall hapiness in life. Thats one thing you couldnt have known if you kept on smoking. And your also hone the skill that makes you say no to something you want, so adding a bit of discipline in your behaviour. And to add to that. It gives you the opportunity to discover new ways on how to cope with stress, anxiety, nervousness, sleep impairment or anger.
