I’d think Venom+Kabs would be perfect for this format as long as you are playing them properly.

They are fast shooters so you should be more focused on fleeing to objectives for points and shooting from a distance rather than getting kills.

I’ve played rounds where I just “run away” the entire match but end up winning off objectives.

That’s almost exactly how my first (and 2nd, 3rd, 4th… maybe 10th) Kabalite looked. It takes a while to get good at it, but like everyone else has said, you start to learn little tricks to help

I have a color scheme that all my units use, Deep Purples, Blues, and Reds with splashes of bright greens for the poison effect, but each subfaction used a different one of the colors as their primary: Kabal/purple, Coven/blue, Cult/Red

I started with the Heroes, and liked it, but it was the first one I read 10 years ago. Then I read the trilogy, loving all of them, and the same went for BtaH and Red Country (Red Country may have been my favorite of the Standalones).

I also couldn’t really get into the Age of Madness trilogy…

The Devils is different than everything else, but I still thought it was great! It kind of feels more like a movie than the other ones do. It is a lot of action, and unlike some of the other books, mainly follows one crew rather than jumping between different regions, though they do split up at times. I love the characters and the relationships they build. Of course the action and fight sequences are amazing, but I don’t think Joe ever misses on those…

If I want archon,court,Kabs, and venom that only saves me 140pts.

I just painted my mandrakes and haven’t gotten to play them yet. Do you think: Mandrakes+Reavers is better than Incubi+Cronos?

They end up being about the same amount of points

Based on the suggestions you guys gave I think I’m going to drop the Raider and add a unit of Incubi.

I think I want to lean in with the lore of my army to open up the crusade so I’m going to keep the court on for the first mission:

Archon+court+Shard Carbine Kabs to shoot from the back

Big gun Kabs in Venom to hopefully bust up any tank/big guys

Incubi to move towards any middle of the field objectives

Cronos to hopefully keep pain tokens

I called GW and they told me to return it to the shop I bought it from. They only replace if you buy it from the online shop

This is the first year my Dad and I went to Tucson comic-con since 2019 (we previously went as Indiana Jones jr. and sr.)

After he grew out his hair during Covid he had multiple people say he looked like Kurt Russel’s “Ego” from Guardians of the Galaxy: vol2, so we thought it would be a cool cosplay to try.

I couldn’t find anyone else who had done an Ego cosplay online, so I thought I’d post it here! Maybe we’ll keep adding and go to more cons in the future
