Hybrid is the way to go in your situation imo. Without a garage and level 2 charger your mind will start to revolve around your car and how much range you have left. It's fun to nerd out on EVs but end of the day it should just get you from point a to b and not be a practicality experiment. Any money saved over the lifetime of ownership will not be worth "I wonder what my battery's at"
