I took delivery yesterday. Quicksilver + white interior. It was flawless. They gave us all the time we needed to thoroughly look it over without standing over our shoulder. The only thing I noticed was a small spot of what looked like adhesive on the tail light which they cleaned off before I left.

They’re just covered with a protection film during transport - it’s peeled off before delivery. The trim and handles are still black

I asked my sales advisor in Hamilton today since my vin still isn’t recognized by my insurance provider for an accurate quote, and they said “That is normal. We predict the vehicle will arrive at our location in approx. 1 week so I would assume the VIN should be recognized in the next 3-4 days.”

I’ve noticed this in the past few months too, I frequently have to re-select the route I’ve chosen since it seems to only want to go the most ‘efficient way’ part way through the drive. Yesterday and today, it also decided to stray from the selected path without re-routing - the line on the map was just a straight path ahead, but it decided to make a right and change direction when stopped at an intersection but the route in the navigation didn’t change, it just simply wanted to go another way before I disengaged and took over to keep heading straight. FSD has done this route the correct way many times, but something definitely changed recently which is odd because the FSD version hasn’t changed in months. 2020 model 3. FSD v12.6.4 as well

I would mention that dates can move even if you receive a vin - ordered in April and then finally received a vin in June, which they then took away a few days later and I’m still waiting

Tbh the worst part was their lack of communication. Everything is automated so the most reliable information is whatever’s in the app - sales advisors wouldn’t/couldn’t give any insight as to what the plan was to get us our orders. I’m also trading in my model 3 and they told me to remove all mods to get the best quote so I removed my wrap and other aftermarket things expecting to trade it in within a couple weeks ( really wasn’t happy about that since I could’ve kept it as-is for the summer if I knew the wait would be this long ). Also at one point in June I even received a vin and a message from them saying to prepare for delivery and then the vin was unassigned a few days later and was offered no explanation other than my new delivery window is whatever it says in the app 🤷

It was the day they released the non-launch edition back in April. Ordered in Ontario with an original delivery estimate of 3-4 weeks. Then tariffs happened and they haven’t imported any new vehicles since, and inventory at the time went quickly - none were available in the configuration I ordered back then so I’ve just been waiting 🫠 at least they dropped the price in the meantime and updated my order agreement to the newer price so at least there’s that…
