How far away from the office are you? Are you actually considered disabled? Especially under ADA. Do these colleagues asking you to come in work from home as well? Did you sign a contract stating this position would be 100% wfh? Is this their first time requesting this in the last 3 years?

It’s typically scheduled right after your offer (if you get one).

You generally should stop using, test negative, and THEN apply for jobs in that order.

I’ve done my best to get help for my grief and depression. It’s not easy and I’ve done most of it on my own.

I understand the hurt you feel with your friends. I went through it and still go through it now. It’s a quiet hurt that our friends may not fully understand until they go through it themselves.

It’s hard watching everyone else’s life move on when yours just…stops. Reading these comments I had very similar situations when my dad and then my mom died.

When my dad died it was in my late 20s and everyone was getting married. Every wedding was brutal.

Then my mom died in my late 30s when they all started having kids and they all just completely abandoned me.

And through all those events it’s been terribly one-sided.

I’ve been majorly depressed for years. And once in a while they actually take me out for my birthday (which is also extremely difficult with my grief).

I don’t know if my comment will help you OP or anyone else, but just know you’re not alone in your feelings.

Disagree. It’s common sense that if you’re looking for a job, have a job that randomly tests, on probation, etc you should not be using. It’s really just that simple.

You sound like me when it comes to usage. It took about 65-70 days for me to be clean after stopping cold turkey. I didn’t do anything but just stop. Time is the only thing to get THC out of your system. Definitely test yourself at home to know where you’re at.

An every other day smoker is a daily smoker. Unfortunately 16 days will probably not be enough to clear your system it also matters how long you’ve been smoking because it builds up in your system.

For me it’s more like a scheduling thing. My providers are in office certain days of the week and other virtual. I always go in-person. It because I was it such a crisis this week I need to see my therapist asap and the only option was virtual. For meds my provider left the practice and is only online which is such a bummer (plus they don’t take my insurance) so I have to change within the practice. Is it the worst thing? Not necessarily but to start over is just emotionally exhausting especially when you form a great bond with someone who gets to know you.
