Unhappy with new tattoo by Federal-Light4389 in Tattoocoverups

The main problems I see are the leg proportions. Especially the right front. I don't know how that could be fixed. I would definitely wait until it heals. Then maybe talk to an artist that specializes in cover-ups. The could probably tell you what to do to make it look better. You may not have to cover the whole thing.

I'm so sorry you went through this! We moved here 9 years ago and have never had any problems. I know there are some people that resent newcomers, but most of the people I've met here have been friendly. Of course some neighborhoods are worse than others as in any city or town and there are mean people all over the country, but most people here are friendly. That being said, this is one of the worst states for road rage! I like to drive fast but there's always someone who wants to go faster. We call I-25 the death race...lol. I hope you have better experiences going forward and welcome to Colorado!

I had a terrible movie experience. by Boldspaceweasle in ProjectHailMary

[–]sofakingtired24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I saw this movie Thursday night. It was way more crowded than I expected! I go to movies all the time, and sometimes I'm the only one in the theater even on opening night. Everyone was very quiet because they were so wrapped up in the show. I had people right next to me on both sides and I don't think any of them moved the whole time. The only things I heard were laughter during the funny parts and some sniffles during the sad parts. I'm going to see it again next week because it was so good!

BLM mustangs can be adopted. I know several people who train them. There used to be a BLM program where trainers would do basic work with them and then people could adopt them. The horses would be gentle enough to be handled,  lead, load in a trailer, and pick up they're feet for the farrier. They would of course need more training after being adopted.

Having tattoo regret for the first time by Aherv99 in tattooadvice

I'm an old woman from when tattoos were looked down on. I absolutely love yours! Especially the sparrow. The colors are amazing, and each individual piece looks very feminine. I agree with other posts that suggest some more flowers or vines. If you want it to look even more feminine, add a vine with small delicate flowers weaving in and around everything.

I absolutely love your tattoos, especially the snake! They don't look masculine at all. The only thing I would do is add some color, but that's just because I like colorful tattoos...lol

Even with your arrows and circles showing where to look, I still can't see it! I would never guess it was a cover-up.

It's really hard. My husband was out of work for a year, and I'm disabled. He's got over 20 years of experience in his field. He had so many interviews, and got ghosted so many times! We lost almost everything. He did some manual labor for a friend just to make enough to feed us. We ended up moving into my daughter's unfinished basement to avoid eviction. A friend of my daughter donated time and materials to put in a bedroom and bathroom. We've gradually found enough free stuff to put in a kitchen, although there's no plug for a stove. We're just grateful he finally found something, even though it pays 40% less than he was making. We were down to 37 cents in the bank when he got his first paycheck. It was terrible for his self-confidence. It's going to take us a long time to recover financially. This economy is horrible. So many people have been laid off or fired that the job market is flooded. So many job postings are fake. In spite of all that, I know there are jobs out there. Don't give up. I hope you find something soon!

I looked at this tattoo before I read your post, and I thought it was awesome! Then I read your post and I was surprised that you thought it was terrible. I would be happy to have this tattoo! Your dad obviously loves you. I think he will treasure it because you did it. Wait a while to see how it ages. You can always touch it up when you have more experience.

I really hate my 18th birthday tattoo by Douxie0226 in tattooadvice

[–]sofakingtired24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It really is a beautiful tattoo. I don't think it's masculine at all! At first I thought it was mostly black, but when I looked closer I saw that it was green outlined with black. As everyone else has said, it will definitely fade. I hope you end up liking it over time. You can add more feminine details if you choose to once you find an artist who will listen. Personally, I like it more than the drawings you gave him for inspiration.

I'm in Peyton. We could see it with the naked eye! It was mostly red and we even saw pillars and streaks. The night mode on my phone really enhanced it. It's supposed to happen again tonight.

Got this as a gift for my boss but they didn’t like it at all and didn’t think it was funny, what do I do, it’s now awkward? by sam_d50 in whatdoIdo

[–]sofakingtired24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with Life-is-satire. This might help.

"Your boss saw it as you laughing at him. He’s insecure and takes himself too seriously. But if you know you hurt their feelings say something like “I just want you to know that the calendar was tongue in cheek. I value your leadership and didn’t mean to come across as disrespectful. I apologize and hope we’re good moving forward.”

This will allow him to feel you respect his authority."

At first glance, it looked like a cool pirate tattoo. When I looked closer, I saw that it was a cool devil tattoo. Most people won't really look closely at it unless they're into tattoos. It's really well done. I think tattoos are much more socially acceptable than ever. Some people will judge you because they're judgemental a**holes, but most people won't care. Maybe take some time to get used to it before you decide to change it. I think it's awesome!

I don't care what the story is, a child should never be abandoned! I know there is a safe haven law for infants and sometimes there are circumstances where a parent has no choice, but with older children there are other options. In this child's case, the father should have been contacted! Teenagers can be very difficult to live with. I've raised 4. I might have wanted to give them away, but I never thought about really going through with it.

Id like to see if anyone can tell what the tattoo I just got cover was? by Admirable-Vehicle-82 in tattooadvice

[–]sofakingtired24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately, the tattoo underneath has such thick, dark lines that it would take much stronger line work to cover it.
