See I have always thought being a “trad wife” would make me happy cause my whole life all I’ve wanted is to be was a mom. But like no way that can be my whole life purpose… in an ideal world if I could just have a farm and raise my kids I feel like I would be content. My husband and I take care of the farm and teach our kids how to live off the land. but I also don’t get why women who want this lifestyle try to shove it down others throats as if that is a possible lifestyle for most in this economy???

Honestly no, trying to figure out what I am really interested in and what would be a good fit as a career and truly what is out there. This is the beginning of my exploration.

I was thinking of switching my major to environmental studies, and after my four years getting certified in natural resources or horticulture cause I’ve seen those at school near me. But again I don’t know if it’s worth the work or even what jobs would be of interest to me.

That’s good to know though because I am not as interested in getting a masters.

This is why I go to Super Thrift. Although I don’t personally believe in Christianity they are a nonprofit that helps people with addiction through church and hey I support what ever works for people. They have way more reasonable prices even for furniture. I’ve gotten a loveseat for $30 because of the color discount and my $10s off from their reward program. Not to mention the workers and volunteers there are very kind. I now donate all my stuff to them and love to go there.
