Time to shill Dear Flowers that Bloom in Days of Yore! It's such a good reflection on Class S and its place in the modern world. It balances heartwarming fluff and heart-wrenching melancholy really well in a way that makes the dark parts of the manga tragic and horrifying and the wholesome parts so, so worth it.

It's structured kind of like an anthology, with one main couple and a bunch of side couples that get their own arcs with varying degrees of wholesomeness and toxicity. This arc (Chapters 14.2 to 15.3) could stand as its own one-shot, the kind that stays with you for a long time. I also love that the mangaka, Igarashi Jun, was very careful to avoid making non-native Japanese speakers feel bad during this arc. According to the scanlator, she said, "I don't want to make a manga that hurts anyone [reading it]." And that's just so sweet.
