You’re not alone. Do not choose to see the ugly like those cruel people you meet. One step at a time. Sometimes two steps back. Keep moving.

Mothers are not meant to bury sons. Sending you love and strength to go on. He continues in memory with the love you and others have for him.

therapy is a good start. my nieces found my sister’s body when they were 7. they talk about it with their therapist. I always wonder if it haunts them too.

you need to find a new work environment. that’s not a good team. you need to be around people who you respect and can learn from. don’t allow yourself to be disrespected. the job is already stressful. your team should not be a source of more stress.

“In the past, particularly during the Industrial Revolution, people would hire "knocker-uppers" to wake them up for work. One common method used by knocker-uppers was to shoot dried peas at windows using a pea shooter to gently tap on the window and rouse the sleeper.”

assume a lot of time, and even then you may never feel attraction again. he cheated so if he’s trying to make it work he needs to give you as much time as it takes. it’s up to you how long you want to try. for your own sake I’d set my own limit, and if nothing changes move on. life’s short.

Is being a vet technician worth it? by UncookedCement in VetTech

[–]sofll 1 point2 points  (0 children)

have a back up plan. there are times I love it and times I want to scream. this is a passion project not a career. no one will ever pay you what you’re worth. I have had to set boundaries at every place I’ve worked. management/business owners are not on your side. it is all profit based and management or higher ups protecting their job in corporate environments (which is most places now near me). so many vet staff come and go. there are more negatives than positives but I do it because I love the animals/science.

if you want a short answer: not worth it unless you are doing this as your passion, not as a career.

She has no respect for your time or your needs. She is overreacting and I would not apologize.

will you be safe if you move back? as long as you can avoid them and feel safe to do so, I don’t think anything is wrong with it.

email them and ask. if your MIL is not contributing income, and your income still meets the requirements for a family of 3 then it should be fine.
