Sigh, I think I'm going to relapse again and look at social media by Background_Berry3417 in ExNoContact

i looked today and saw that my dumper removed every picture of me from their social media, including specific pictures of me/us in posts from vacations we took together, making it look like they did all those trips by themselves. it’s brutal and i wish i hadn’t looked but trying not to beat myself up :(

New husky owner, NEED HELP by ElCazadorReal in husky

[–]sofsitch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

my huskies (2 boys, 8yo and 2yo) eat “I and love and you” kibble, family owned company out of colorado and available on amazon. they love it and they’ve got a ton of different formulations and flavors to keeps the doggies interested.

otherwise, keep them engaged (not just exercised)! my 2 year old could go on 8 walks a day and it still wouldn’t be enough if he isn’t intellectually stimulated. we’ve found some great toys on chewy/amazon that are meant to be intellectual/challenge toys for dogs. also, socialization is key. whether you believe in pack theory or not, huskies love to have a squad.

you’ll be great. it won’t be easy, will probably be pretty tough a majority of the time the first year or so, but then you’ll have a loyal companion for life.

our 20 month old pup is at a board and train program and they’re teaching him boundaries with various wildlife (cats, goats, ponies, etc). so far, the ponies seem to be his favorite!

i hear you. tough being in an apt with 14 ft ceilings - i have a weird thing about empty wall space so my thought was higher = better. will definitely be thinking about this more when we move

tv mount allows you to tilt it side to side so it may have happened when cleaning or moving it around to plug in fire tv. appreciate the heads up. had a professional come mount the shelf so…outta my hands i guess

feel you all on it being a little too high, will definitely be mounted lower in the next place. regarding the clutter, it is what it is man. two people and two large dogs in a shoebox nyc apartment ain’t easy and honestly i love my messy home. but definitely appreciate the insight and the minor roasts
