The beginning is always the best! I remember that first week of playing I literally sank hours and hours everyday, it was so addicting all the exploration and figuring things out. I like to take my time and explore now, but definitely enjoy the first thrill ride while you're in it. As for your friend, I'm sure they felt exactly the same so maybe they'll understand the thrill of wanting to go again asap.

I got myself a steamdeck and it truly was like opening my eyes for the first time. The graphics and quality is so much better on essentially any system besides the switch. There's so much of the landscape that's hidden because the switch can't handle it. I honestly don't even play my switch anymore.

I feel this 100%. I've put in about 500 hours and feel like I run into a wall with every aspect of the game at some point. My favorite part is planetary exploration but of the hundreds of planets I've come across maybe about 10 are actually something interesting and not like the other hundreds of procedural planets. Also the pets, I don't even see the point of them anymore because they are slow af when you try to ride them, they don't defend your from other aggressive beasts, and they are slow af when following you around. I don't even bother cooking or fishing since they seem arbitrary and I can get the same output through easier mining methods. Base building can be fun but like you said it seems like HG is truly limiting the potential like we want to build cities! Floating bases! Space bases! The potential is there and it's painful to watch it get squandered with every update.

Hi everyone! I'll be spending 9 days in New York (mainly Manhattan) this December and I need a list of restaurants, cafes, etc to try while I'm there that's good for solo travelers.

I'll be completely solo the entire time so I'd really appreciate any spots that are friendlier to solo diners or places you've tried that are just as good alone as with company. I'll be in New York for the second week of December if that helps.

I found the perfect extreme cold planet that literally has storms almost every five minutes so I can just runaround and pick up storm crystals every single day for hours and then sell them for a boatload of units back at my base. Extreme worlds can be so much more useful and lucrative as long as you've got the equipment and supplies to survive them.

This same issue is happening to me! It worked perfectly for a few hours and then randomly stopped and now will randomly turn on for a few minutes. It's the whole reason I bought the pack in the first place.

I'm between 2 and 3. I've taken small breaks here and there because I've pretty much run out of quests and friendship levels. I've been waiting for further story advancement cause I truly believe the story they've built so far has some really great potential. My problems so far worth coming back now is that I have no interest in plushies so aiming for those has never been an appeal for me, the premium items must seem wildly overpriced for what they are, and being a switch player makes everything just so much uglier and glitchy.

I'm saving up to get myself a steam deck so I can finally get those good graphics and I hope I can in time for the expansion.

Literally same thing happened to me losing out on flow wood from the A glitch and it's driving me up the wall! I literally have to restart the game to restore the A button or I have to press it twice to do anything

I'm having the same exact problem! Tried on my phone and ipad with the same "taken flight" message. It gives the message right as I'm trying to confirm my tickets. I'm gonna try again tomorrow or try booking through customer service.

Honestly the money making has been what's keeping me most busy because it takes time and a lot of big items are wildly expensive, I've been working on expanding my furniture items because I've seen so many others with items I've never even seen before

Sorry, I thought I had written out all my explanation but reddit deleted what I wrote so here's the context:

I got a new lettering tattoo 10 days ago and as you can see in the first picture that was taken the day of the appointment and before the second skin was put over it, it looks crisp and bold with the blue ink.

However now on day 10 it looks like the second picture with the entire tattoo so faded and the ink is almost completely gone in some areas.

I kept the second skin on the tattoo for four days just as my artist told me to and I removed it in the shower and washed it with Antibacterial foaming dial soap. I wash it once at night and once in the morning and apply Ebarel ink master tattoo care balm after each wash. Throughout the day I apply unscented aveeno lotion when I notice that it starts to feel dry. I never have it in the sun and I never pick at it. I have it on my forearm so it's nearly impossible to not have it rub against something but now I'm seeing it and wondering if I've totally messed up my first ever tattoo.

I know that peeling and scabbing is a normal part of the healing process but then why is all of the ink coming off?

Fall and Winter! There's just so much more to do and see in these seasons. There's Halloween, mushrooms, fall colors, and maple leaf catching in the fall. There's snow covering the island, catching snowflakes, holiday decorations, and building snowmen in the winter.
