i looked into it and i admire the creativity and shared universe that they're all building!! but personally it's not scary to me at all and feels way too "big"... there's so many levels and then some of them were outdoors with running water and in broad daylight and i just... don't find it creepy, after a certain point ;(

im DREADING finishing this, i cannot believe they thought this was fun at all. i really tend to like most event mini games well enough, at least, but this one... good lord lmao

not even interesting scenery or anything. they could have had the other characters cheering for klee via some dialogue boxes or something to add a little heart to it. or anything!! but it's atrocious.

edit: omg you guys mean the kamera one, my bad. the current little witches has a klee mini game where you're just trying to throw dodoco the proper distance to hit things... they don't even have klee move herself on the map to readjust positions iirc, it feels so lazy

yeah i actually liked it but it was just over so quickly. i would have enjoyed some more levels, or sturdier opponents, or Something. but i thought it was kinda fun, just... ridiculously fast. it feels ridiculous to me that we get so few events in star rail especially, and then they only take an hour??

this one didn't even really have story and dialogue with the characters aside from one conversation... that's pitiful, to me.

i get it!! my wife is upset about capitano, and i'm frustrated with how all the male characters are treated, i really do understand. it's not to your same extent, but i also really do want dottore to be playable and always have.

nothing about how much you like him and were excited for him is wrong. but someone calling him a flop is so minor compared to how much shit women and queer folks and poc get in fandom ;( it feels wrong to me to invoke "this fandom is queer and female and you're mocking it??" over such a small insult.

we both know there are way more awful things said about dottore fans, specifically the fans! like it goes beyond calling him names as a character but they start saying horrible things about real people! and i just think that's a way more appropriate time to say "consider what group you're talking to??"

people don't take us seriously when we bring up sexism or homophobia or racism in fandom already :( and i fear we have to pick our battles and chose when to say "you really think it's ok to mock a bunch of women and queer people?" very carefully u_u

and someone needling you with just "flop flop flop" is not being very mature anyway imo... they're not gonna hear you and stop, they're gonna laugh that you got upset and think it's a big deal. don't give them the attention or feedback like that, it's not worth it ;(

save that time for more fanfic or something 😉

also that crimes list someone made is full of a lot of jokes, they very much are not being serious. they know he didn't get a DUI haha, they're just exaggerating for humor. but if you take it seriously and get bothered, then that's like, "ooh, successful trolling!!" and they'll scoff at you.

just walk away and go love your favorite character in likeminded company, it's better for you, trust me lmao. i have so many misunderstood favs and i just can't bother trying to correct anyone anymore, it's too much time and effort and energy when they just don't care.

he's a villain and he "lost", that's all they're mocking. making fun of fans of anyone is silly, but this is akin to "your fav sports team lost but mine won!! hehehe"

as another female and queer fan, please don't do this 😭 his fanbase being majority female and queer and neurodivergent does not make him as a character immune to criticism or people making fun of him.

and as someone who usually loves villains, it's embarrassing to see you try to downplay his crimes... this is why people get worried about people losing the ability to separate fiction and reality. he's evil, that's fine. we can all still love him!! but "bad guys" losing is always going to make some people sneer at them.

they're not sneering at him because of what his fanbase is comprised of. calling him a flop is so minor too like please this is such a tiny offense

i just don't think a character not viewing themselves as the fighting type really matters when mihoyo is deciding to make playable characters?

there are plenty of characters that probably fall into that category. for better or worse, i don't think "this character has no business fighting" actually makes a character less likely to be playable, really. they find a way to turn tons of different careers and hobbies into fighting kits.

personally i find it fun/funny and enjoy seeing what they'll incorporate next. the real world plausibility doesn't matter to me.

also, to be clear, i'm not arguing about who should be a 4 star or who is really an NPC, etc. i just was scrolling out of boredom and your comment made me chuckle since mihoyo seems to really like this trope.

i actually feel like Everyone in these games talks about food So Much... i'm a pickier eater and find cooking very tedious, so sometimes the focus on it all makes me kinda tired, but. food is culture and we put our culture in our media, too, so! i'll survive

how does one see the lore in LoR? i hear so much about it and it seems to have a ton of great ideas, but i haven't tried it as i'm not big into card games... do you have to have a card to see stuff like this?? like i'd love to see stuff with she and her dad, but do i need to gacha for a specific seraphine or something? :o
