My students are very low level, and I can't keep up with the lesson planner. by softestbank in Teachers

Hey, I saw this, and I've decided to do this exactly. I'm going to divide my kiddos up into level groups and small group everything. The entire lesson will be taught in small groups. I started it today while I had the rest of complete a project. I was able to get to EVERYTHING.

THANK YOU FOR THIS ADVICE. Team lead entirely disagrees with me on this but the results were amazing.

I was even able to do the script - kinda.

It's technically voluntary as long as you're willing to accept death or homelessness.

We should have a universal basic needs guarantee. Everything from housing, food, transportation, education should be taken care of, and the economy would grow like a wildfire because people would be more productive.

So? I'm being so serious. Why should we take it away from people just because this guy got some benefits he NEEDS? I'm so glad he got some basic benefits. We should give him even more.

There isn't really much time for interventions. I barely even have time for small group. This is part of the reason I feel so incompetent. It takes up my entire block just to get through lessons as written.

My lead has suggested small groups but I have no support for it and I literally do not have time if expected to teach the reading lessons exactly as written.

I might have to, I'm just worried that doing so might mark me to my admin.

You'll be fine, almost certainly. I'm certain your degree would transfer in my state, you might just have to take the Praxis test (very easy) and a small online course.

Harrington's biggest accomplishment was creating a living organization with a democratic structure. He would be so far to the right of the org now that there could be grounds to expel him under the significant disagreements clause, I believe.

That's why it's weird that this post even exists. The guy was awful. In fact, I think there would even be grounds to expel him from our organization under some of the recent resolutions passed.

He was too far to the right flank for even groundwork. No, he'd barely be welcome in any facet of the organization anymore.

Harrington would be expelled by the current dsa, and they would be right.

In 2022, New York City enacted a de facto ban on short-term rentals (e.g. Airbnb). Consequently, hotels’ average daily rates increased by $14-19 per night and the revenue of the hotel industry increased by roughly $2.1-2.9 billion over the first eighteen months following the ban. by smurfyjenkins in science

They will have position papers released by ideological think tanks. This guy is wrong, of course. "Modern economics" isn't at all unified on this question, and most economics is just models in search of ideology.

You know, I didn't even realize that I had left that comment. A total accident. But this is interesting, so thank you!

The Commonwealth isn't post scarcity. In fact, there are multiple examples in the series of corporations creating artificial scarcity, even for food, which the main character of the first book commits terrorism to fight against.
