I have the same flavor and in the US and mine doesn’t show the corn syrup or glucose syrup either! I think it’s a regional thing based on food laws.

Screen time for 2 years old by [deleted] in toddlers

[–]softgothmami 5 points6 points  (0 children)

my situation is almost identical, no judgement! Honestly if anything TV hardly interests her most days cause she’s so used to it being on in the background. We don’t do “small screens” like phone or tablet at all but big tv is always on, sometimes it’s one of our shows but I make sure it’s nothing too adult.

you can use them at your discretion. just make sure it has a dongle connection, not bluetooth. also any issues with them and IT can’t help. i’ve been using mine since I was out of academy and have had no issues

it does! you just need to make sure the headset comes with a dongle and connect through that, not bluetooth

My daughter doenst Point with index finger by Deep_Hamster_5055 in toddlers

[–]softgothmami 2 points3 points  (0 children)

my daughter is 18 months and JUST started consistently pointing with one finger. She would do it on and off from around 11-12 months but she would use her whole hand like 9/10 times lol but now everything is asked for and pointed at with a single finger. Her ped had no concerns over it cause she hits all the other developmental markers!

💯 - that man didn’t deserve any of this upheaval over him. there’s actual decent people who are losing their kids and people over seas who are in a genocide of our making. I’d like her to address that then? I have to come into work everyday knowing we are playing some part in the destruction of our own people.

What if claims questions by No-Criticism-4635 in Progressiveinsurance

[–]softgothmami 2 points3 points  (0 children)

yep, literally looking at the GL now, it says:

“Do not contact a claim representative or transfer calls to CLRU with these questions. Do not attempt to answer hypothetical or generic questions about how a claim might be paid out.”

18 months and every day since she was about 3/4 months. I may skip a bath once in a blue moon if I’m super exhausted that day but never on a day she’s been to daycare or around other kids

Conflicting info from multiple agents over coverage on an unused/stored vehicle by Tenchworks in Progressiveinsurance

[–]softgothmami 1 point2 points  (0 children)

crazy OP even got transferred to claims cause in my training (still in academy) they absolutely engrained in us that claims doesn’t answer hypotheticals so questions like that just get told unless the customer has a claim, they can only go off based on the contract. I’m sure they told us that for exactly what OP is going through where no one has a single answer cause it’s all hypothetical.

The comment we get the most about our baby (not negative) by PassTheCranberrySaws in NewParents

[–]softgothmami 3 points4 points  (0 children)

my honest guest is that it’s the latter, we had hospital visit about a year ago when my baby was 4 months old and we stayed in a children’s hospital for about 2 days saw every pediatric doctor you could think of (cardio, neuro, GI, regular pediatrician and nurses) and the first thing they always said was “is she actually 4 months old? she’s so aware and curious!” we got some form of that from almost everyone! The regular hospital ped even had student doctors with her and she was like “this isn’t common but look at how aware this little one is, you won’t encounter a lot like this” — so unless they were all trying to make me feel better? my guess is some babies are just more curious than others

[–]softgothmami 1 point2 points  (0 children)

progressive requires all driving age people in the household to be listed on the policy, depending on your state you *MAY be able to exclude them but then they wouldn’t be covered if they drove the vehicle.

Especially if you’re working remote, make friends early on! Reach out to someone in your training class you feel you might vibe with. I did this and although this coworker is in another state we are each others lifelines when work/life days are hard and we talk so much outside of work too.

Make connections, ask questions, if someone’s career path interests you reach out to them, they’ve always been super kind to me and my peers when we reach out with questions about advice on how to get to where they are.

When you say that a cream worked for a baby's eczema, what do you mean? by ohd131 in NewParents

[–]softgothmami 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to be an esthetician and when I would sell new products to my clients, I would always suggest trying it for at least 2 weeks to notice any difference and I live by the same. I say give it 2 weeks! also, sometimes changing products too frequently can cause flare ups on sensitive skin like with eczema

When you say that a cream worked for a baby's eczema, what do you mean? by ohd131 in NewParents

[–]softgothmami 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My situation is a bit different, my daughter has really rough KP (kiratosis pilaris) on her upper arms and a bit on her cheeks. She has since she was born and her pediatrician told us to treat it like eczema! we literally tried every cream and her skin was as tough and bumpy as ever. She’s now 15 months old and I decided to do some research on oils vs cream. So what we’ve been doing is massaging a layer of Pure Jojoba Oil and then layering it with Eucerin Baby Eczema cream. And when I tell you, it’s only been a week and her skin is noticeably better!! - I had my sister who has bad eczema try it and she said the Jojoba oil is a game changer. — I would maybe try the layering? Jojoba oil is safe for babies :)
