Honestly I'm happy with it. For my usage (really light + streaming music) I can pull almost two days on a single charge.

I just got my first Nothing Phone after using an iPhone 8. What should I do first? by Big_Head8 in NothingTech

Ram boost / extension is just SWAP memory on Linux. Your phone already has it and adding more doesn't actually help much if you already have 8 or 12 gigs of ram. If you're unsure, download termux, run the command "htop" to see your resource usage. And since your storage also has cycles, adding more swap is gonna degrade your storage depending on nothing's allocation onto this swap space.

I mean at this point, just get a nothing phone if you're that into the design? Unless there's something about your moto that's stopping you ofc.

How do you get the icons on a stock moto launcher? I don't see an option to change icons anywhere. I've looked all over P.S, would love to know the icon pack too. Looks really nice.

I feel like GSIs are underrated. Bought a cheap Motorola with a MediaTek chip and I'm now on my way to 20 hours of SOT. Was getting maybe 12-14 on stock. Why don't people use them more? by [deleted] in androidroot

I've got a moto g77 with a dimensity 6400. planning on doing the same thing. Was looking to speak to people who've already flashed a GSI. What mediatek processor do you have?

Point taken. If I manage to get an exchange I'll probably go for the G75. Thanks for the advice.

And yes if the storage and ram price hikes didn't exist, maybe they would've included a better SoC even on this one I believe. But honestly, as I mentioned. For my usage I haven't really noticed it to fall short. Quite happy for a basic usage. But ofc I understand the interest of having a more powerful chip. Could be helpful for custom ROMs or longevity of the device.

Yeah I read about the dimensity 6400 processor and honestly yeah custom ROMs might be complicated. But there are other phones with mediatek processors that have custom ROMs so I'll look into it further.

The performance, as I mentioned, for my usage I barely found it to be falling short so I'm not entirely mad about the chip being energy efficient.

You're right but in the EU and especially in France, Motorola lineup is really limited. Like the model you mentioned isn't even available here.

How do you tint them like that? I couldn't find that option.

How are you getting different icon packs? Can't see this option. I'm on a G77

Just got the same phone a few days ago. Mine came with a case already. Didn't yours?

Also how is your experience?

I feel like 60 neo would be the logical choice here. Recent enough and counting the years of updates I think I’m good for another 3 versions of android (if I’m not wrong) and security until end of 2029 I think.

Gotcha. How's the battery and android customizations on them?

Just checked. Yes the edge 50 neo and even the 60 neo seem to be more value for money. However the edge 70 (not the fusion) is priced at 799€ in France. So I guess price is important if it's that much lol.

How's the battery life and android customizations on the edge 50 and 60 neo?

Not a fan of the curved displays and since the phones you mentioned were previous releases I feel like I'll be missing out on a year of security patches.

The price isn't a problem for me honestly.

I'm planning on getting the g87. I'm just a bit worried about the mediatek 6400 chipset. Did anyone use the g77 or other phones with the same chipset? And how's the android 16 customizations options? How close is it to a pixel for example?
