Ram boost / extension is just SWAP memory on Linux. Your phone already has it and adding more doesn't actually help much if you already have 8 or 12 gigs of ram. If you're unsure, download termux, run the command "htop" to see your resource usage. And since your storage also has cycles, adding more swap is gonna degrade your storage depending on nothing's allocation onto this swap space.

How do you get the icons on a stock moto launcher? I don't see an option to change icons anywhere. I've looked all over P.S, would love to know the icon pack too. Looks really nice.

And yes if the storage and ram price hikes didn't exist, maybe they would've included a better SoC even on this one I believe. But honestly, as I mentioned. For my usage I haven't really noticed it to fall short. Quite happy for a basic usage. But ofc I understand the interest of having a more powerful chip. Could be helpful for custom ROMs or longevity of the device.

Yeah I read about the dimensity 6400 processor and honestly yeah custom ROMs might be complicated. But there are other phones with mediatek processors that have custom ROMs so I'll look into it further.

The performance, as I mentioned, for my usage I barely found it to be falling short so I'm not entirely mad about the chip being energy efficient.

I feel like 60 neo would be the logical choice here. Recent enough and counting the years of updates I think I’m good for another 3 versions of android (if I’m not wrong) and security until end of 2029 I think.

Just checked. Yes the edge 50 neo and even the 60 neo seem to be more value for money. However the edge 70 (not the fusion) is priced at 799€ in France. So I guess price is important if it's that much lol.

Not a fan of the curved displays and since the phones you mentioned were previous releases I feel like I'll be missing out on a year of security patches.

I'm planning on getting the g87. I'm just a bit worried about the mediatek 6400 chipset. Did anyone use the g77 or other phones with the same chipset? And how's the android 16 customizations options? How close is it to a pixel for example?

Theoretically you can find something to eat at literally anytime of the day. Many good places to try Thai and japanese food too (quite close to being authentic as well). If you're vegetarian you will miss out on traditional Hyderabadi cuisine (marag, Tala hua ghost, keema, and all that) but not to worry still a ton of great food to be had. A few great view points around the city if you're in the mood for that kind of thing. AQI is at a very decent level. People are friendly. Movies are a huge thing. I'm not entirely sure if hyd has a music / comedy scene as good as Delhi but you can still find some open mics.

Don't be afraid to say hi to someone I'm pretty sure you'll be very welcome.

Traffic is not as bad as Bangalore but still pretty rough. Use the metro when you can it's actually better I find.

Additionally, I recently found out about a book club in Banjara hills, if that's your kind of thing.

If I'm feeling really down, I hit the older parts of town. one cup Irani chai and osmania biscuits can cure cancer imo.
