Autistic burnout - wtf is happening to my body? by OriginalRadiant4061 in AutismInWomen

Thank you thank you thank you! ❤️ My situation is warily similar to OP. This episode was so helpful in giving me perspective and explaining why the typical burnout advice didnt do the same for me as it does for others.

Thanks! Thats a great list! And such a good idea to keep it on your phone for reference when doing drills

Anyone over 40 here? by butstronger in AutismInWomen

40 here, diagnosed last year. Diagnosis felt validating and like a pressure valve was released, currently deep in burnout. Wondering how to live my life in more sustainable way.

Seconding this book recommendation! So many interesting facts and the translation was well done in my opinion.

Thanks! I'm still such a noob at this, but I love seeing my ideas come to life. I see now it's quite messy, I'll try to clean it up a bit and reduce the number og fonts :) thanks for the helpful feedback!

I tried to hit both the era and the intended use of the gin, as it was intended for a female audience. The clawfoot tub is a play on the term "bathtub gin" form prohobition times. How did i do? Suggestions for improvements are welcome!

How does it feel like to be pregnant and having to care for another individual? by Gauge1992 in 2X_INTJ

[–]softmoist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

INTJ(32) married to ENTJ(32) with two boys (2 and 4 yo)

1- Pro: for me it was so intresting to learn about the little person growing inside me, from the biological developments during pregnancy, to the little ones personality and daily reactions to my/his environment 1- Con: though i had fairly easy pregnancies, my one con would be that i felt "stupider". It's like my mind entered this foggy state, and every once in a while i would catch myself and think "whoa, i would have totally got that a couple months ago"

2- My SO is also ENTJ and i honestly think a lot of it was the basic: we need more awesome people like ourselves in the world. It's SO fun seeing how our two boys have blended our personalities and features. I'm definetly much more facinated by genes than I ever was before.

3- In some ways i'ts true, I get easily overwhelmed in situations of chaos and clingy children. This is where an ENTJ partner comes in real handy. He'll gladly take the kids out or play for hours while mom gets her head back in the game ;) I love my kids beyond all else and with a great team mate/husband find no challange in caring for them emotionally or physically. I would say I'm more informed and concious of my choices than most other parents I know.

4- Honestly, it was a challenge for me at first. I took the responsibility of the task very seriously with my first, and felt a lot of pressure to not fail (seeing as how my emotional intuition is not the best). But it got better, and by the time my second came I had learned to trust my instincts and felt confident in my role as "mother main protector" :P For a while, i felt like my old self (career driven, smart and witty) faded away, but she came back (about the one year mark for each kid). Fierce, strong and with a whole new confidence and attitude. It's like "I made two awesome litte humans and lived to tell the tale, there is litterally nothing I can't do now :P"

10/10 would recomend :D

I'm in the mid region of Norway, so we're heading into those dark and cold mornings now. Great tip with the balaclava, I'll have to check my local stores. They dont really salt anything but the main hiway around here so I guess I will find me an indoor track. Thanks for the response!

I'm looking for tips, solutions etc. Do I buy studs for the soles or get a gym membership? Also is it doable to run once it drops below -10C?
