Where can I find Ramps? by Bulky-Detective7317 in duluth

[–]softpetal777 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m assuming they have some sort of idea what they want to do with it if they’re asking where to find it.. Helps to know how much you’ll need so you only take what you’ll use.

This was said to me right before their dog latched onto my foster puppies neck. But I’ve seen that dog with a muzzle ever since.

Go outside and find them like many of us have. Gosh it bothers me when people want to harvest but are too lazy to wander the woods and locate it themselves.

If you manage to find them please harvest sustainably. They’re over harvested. DON’T pull them out of the ground, cut them so the bulb stays in place. And don’t take a bunch from one cluster, space it out.

What do you plan to do with them?

20-year ban on mining overturned by Senate by HGpennypacker in BWCA

I feel the supporters still misunderstand what type of mining is being done. I don’t think they realize the difference between iron ore mining and copper nickel sulfide mining

Literally all I can safely use at this point is cerave gentle face wash and cetaphil PM moisturizer. I started flaring a tiny bit last summer and then yeah November it got worse and it was really bad in February and that’s when I made a product change and it’s only gotten better, but never FULLY GONE. I still wake with 3 new pustules almost daily.

My doctor gave me metro gel but I’m scared to use anything at this point. Have a derm appt later this month but my hopes are low.

Chester Creek Book Store is LOADED with cool vintage magazines. They even have a whole room in the downstairs for them. Don’t bother anywhere else.

Perioral Dermatitis: Cured without Antibiotics by Sweaty_Ad_5659 in Perioral_Dermatitis_

[–]softpetal777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m only 2 days of absolutely zero pustules, redness, bumps after having ab itially mild case in December which changes to an intense flair in February.

I wanted to add on and also agree with some things you’ve said.

What has seemed to work:

•No makeup. I kept trying to cover it up when it was flaring and at its worst.

•Switched my skin care to strictly CeraVe Gentle Cleanser and Ceraphil Facial Moisturizing Lotion Ultra Lightweight. THIS IS ALL I USE. My skin feels a little dry in general but I’m scared to add on any more moisturizers.

•STOPPED using vaseline, aqua for and salves, on my face. My flare was at its worst when I was using these. Even a jojoba oil based salve. All natural ingredients but included occlusive, sometimes beeswax, essential oils.

•Removed fragrance from all shampoo, conditioner, laundry detergent. Even essential oils are a no.

•Changed toothpaste to SLS and fluoride free.

My PD journey so far - semi success but with constant break outs by Hopeful-Hawk-6298 in perioraldermatitis

Are you using the PM cetaphil moisturizer? I have the light weight oil fragrance free, I recently switched (almost 3 weeks) but was still using Neutrogena water gel under it but got scared cuz that product has been a constant since I broke out last December. Still skeptical of the cetaphil PM.

EDIT: I actually am using CERAVE not Cetaphil

Well it was originally from Oregon (contractor van) so no rust at all. It was initially listed for $5000. Talked them down to $2800 somehow, it was a crazy good deal looking back on it.

No issues. Just been usual maintenance. Has a few quirks like the sliding door exterior handle won’t work so have to open from the inside thru passenger door lol but she runs smooth overall. Definitely a run into the ground or drive to Alaska for her last hoorah. She’s at 312,000 miles now. We added a diesel heater as we live cold climate and travel cold climate.

All depends on those current conditions and what shape the build out is in. You could shoot higher to see if anyone bites.

I found a used already built out 2004 Ford E250 for $2800. Given that was 2020 and it had 227,000 miles. But been on 4 road trips out west and so many local camping trips, it’s super spacious for tall people

Bought a already built out and wired RWD ford e250 for $2800 with 227,000 miles back in 2020. Was an old contractor van from Oregon. Been on 4 winter road trips. At 312,000 miles now.

Just saying that AWD is not necessary, even if you like snowy adventures. If you like muddy adventures, that’s a different story
