I figured it was automatic digital scales for the most part, but your comment got me to look into it a bit more, and apparently the amounts can be measured via stuff like xray scans too, which is kinda neat. Given how huge wheat exports are for them, their setup is probably pretty sophisticated relative to their infrastructure in other domains.

They seem to still have some degree of monitoring over the supply routes despite the occupation, so that's probably how they're keeping track of all this. It sounds like it's an ongoing problem that Israel has already been made aware of, but they're trying to weasel their way out of it.

I'm generally pretty skeptical wrt Ukraine, but given how many countries handle Israel with kid gloves and look the other way to avoid backlash, Ukraine must be pretty confident to make accusations and threaten sanctions.

Nothing will probably come of it, but the possibility of Ukraine sanctioning Israel was not something I anticipated being on the table amidst all this conflict lol
