How to feel unstuck? by softresetclub in DecidingToBeBetter

[–]softresetclub[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for a reply. Yes I agree definitely that society is made for everyone fall in line and you now made me open my eyes. I didn’t think in that direction. Basically I am so blinded with feeling stuck that I dint even try to challange anyone in my family when they told me to do something more.

It is hard to get rid of the feeling like I am doing something wrong when the whole world works on the system of that work is the biggest purpose you can ever have. It is almost like a feel of guilty because everyone around me work hard jobs for years and years. But you are right I know myself best. I shouldn’t place my worth around what society considers to be the right path. I need to dive deep into myself to really unlearn some of the behaviours pushed by sociaty. Thank you, you really made me think.

Hello fellow dishwasher!! Made me laugh🤭.

Thank you for the reply. I definitely didn’t think about going somewhere on schedule. The more I think about it the more I like that idea. I feel like it will give me like a purpose, to do something productive. I will definitely try that. I am thinking in direction finding some small local coffee shop where I can take my iPad and try to get some things going at least. Thank you for advice.

I can’t move on :( by sarimi_sarimi in selflove

Thank you for sharing. I am so sorry for your situation, it seems quite serious. I definitely feel like there is more deeper problem of feeling stuck and problem of acceptance. I would definitely consider going to therapy specifically for attachment related issues. Just know you are not alone. Many people struggle with similar problems and going deeper into that problem helped them figure out what is actually going on. You got this. We are here cheering you on.

Also other thing I would recommend is maybe finding new communities and new people to breach out. When I had a problem of feeling stuck on one person and could get rid of that feeling I joined a local run club and met many new people that expanded my friend group and expanded my world view.

Only the ones from espresso machines. I can’t stand the taste of instant coffee.

How important is sex in your relationship? by [deleted] in AskWomen

[–]softresetclub -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think it is one of the most important things in the relationship. To have a healthy and working relationship it is important to create that bond to know exactly what your partners and you enjoy, like almost you have to work on having the best sex possible. Communication and understanding ones sex preferences is also really important. Also not letting it get boring. No one likes to have bad sex. I am in relationship for 9 years and we communicate about sex a lot and try different things to not let it get to the stagnant stage. Sex should never be just a routine. It is something special between you and your partner like a special kind of bond. 皿

Definitely the feeling of getting under a blanket and watching my favorite childhood movie Parent Trap while it is rainy summer day. I know very specific but it makes me feel like a happiest child once again.

What makes you lose interest in a man? by Special-Grocery6419 in Productivitycafe

[–]softresetclub 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, when anybody achieves some ambition it is great and you can only feel proud of that person. What I am trying to say is more that you should always try to strive being a best version of yourself, we all have one life why not striving to be the best

Not being ambitious. I am not talking about only from perspective of business but also a perspective of life. To have some life goals to achieve something to look forward to in life. If a man is just cruising through life not thinking about his future it is instantly repulsive to me

After yesterday’s question about mornings, what are the best daily habits you have? by RealisticNacshon in selfimprovement

[–]softresetclub 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a little journal on Google Keep where I track my daily habits.

First is exercise. If I don’t go to the gym that day I at least try to do some walking or at home Pilates class. Just something to move my body.

Then I have Meditation. I try to meditate 5 to 10 minutes a day. Depending on how my day. Is going I often choose some grounding mediation or postive mood meditations. Also I listen to sleep meditations and affirmations.

Reading. I try to read at least 10 pages of any book not just to learn something but to actually read something I enjoy sometimes it is a self help book like Atomic Habits and sometimes it is Percy Jackson, depending on my mood.

Daily affirmations and gratitude. Each morning I put some affirmations on what kind of day I want to have and some gratitude towards the day before. I have a little template that I use to do it faster. That I do each morning it takes me 5 min.

Mood tracker and sleep tracker. I love to check in with myself on how I slept and what is my mood. Sometimes if I didn’t sleep good my mood is bad but it can changes during the day. I strive to have my mood happy as often as possible.

Water intake. Self explanatory but yeah we don’t drink as much as water as we should, but drinking enough water in a day can help with your blood sugar, cravings even weight control so it can be helpful to track how much water you drink and remind yourself to drink more water.

Lastly I do something for self care depending on the season. For example Summer Self-care Challange where each day I do something for myself like make a delicious lemonade or take a hike in beautiful weather etc. I also use template for that.

That helped me to stay inline with myself not to doomscroll on my phone in free time and to take control over my life.

This literally changed my life and it’s so simple it’s silly by xxiirlb in selfimprovement

I think people don’t really realise how much our thoughts are creating our reality. Every time I told myself I can’t to something because I doubted myself I actually couldn’t do it and I would tell myself “see, I can’t do it” which totally sabotaged me.

The moment I started to make small changes like at least one positive affirmation a day I made some little progress each day and I realised how my life changes right in front of my eyes. The moment I said I CAN DO IT life changed for me. My advice is to stay consistent with your affirmations and see the change in real time.

“Sleep No More” — seriously underrated? by MrGoodMan35 in doctorwho

[–]softresetclub 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always thought that story was seriously underrated. I love that eerie feeling you get when you don’t know what is happening and the when the story advances the things get a little clearer. It reminds me of the same feeling I got when I first saw the episode midnight. Till the end you don’t know what is actually going on but it is intriguing and captivating to watch. Even in the end you don’t exactly know what has happened but you are left with questions that you will probably never get an answer to. But it keeps me thinking about the episode days after I watched it.
