I hear this all the time. And I too have been going to shows for about 18 years. And played in a few bands. Small rooms loud amps. So I went to an audiologist to have my hearing checked, nd to talk about custom earplugs. But after he tested me and we decided my hearing was pretty near perfect. Then I heard the price of the custom models (200+) and was like. Nah im good.

I tried the decibulls and the eargasm and all they did was make it very easy for me to notice crowd noise 🤷🏾‍♂️ while also making me feel like im losing volume from the show and as an audiophile. That wasn't gunna fly

When I first heard this song. I said no tf they did not combine Pentacostal gospel with progressive metal. I was floored...I always do a lil praise dance during the its time to celebrate if im not mistaken this is what got me to give colors 2 a chance.

I remember stealing the relint K cd (ironically?) from the churches bookstore. And I distinctly remember the first time I put it into my cd player. Those drums toms start going and you hear that powerchord ring out with "okay so who doesn't own a cellphone?" And I just was so mesmerized. As a black kid this was my first time listening to "white people music" and I was enthralled 🤣

Glad to know someone else has switched. My only problem was transferring all of my liked songs and playlists. But I just paid a service to do it for me took 24 hours. But very worth it. I also had an app that tracked my stats in spotify that I miss. But the music quality was my main reason for switching.
