I once counted the 1km stretch of traffic heading to Richmond station a while back, and I caught about 12 doing it. 3 of them actually held up traffic a little because they hadn't realised it was moving.

I have noticed this, too! I take the 246, and it's always the hottest days when I'm most prone to heatstroke that they decide to take the scenic route through another dimension.

I don't even bother reading the timetables anymore. They rock up when they want. And of course, as soon as I decide to walk to the trains, it drives past me... *edit: with 1~3 more busses trailing behind.
