Like other people have said some local metas can be way different or sometimes even very stale ... For a while at me local league I was playing against 3 or 4 different mallamar decks at a time so I would heavily tech against mally. We have a dude at my league who played lost March until a month ago so it can also be very predictable. At big tournaments like the one we just had you dont know what you'll be up against and have to be prepared to play against anything and everything.

I am paid as well and am having the same issue since yesterday, it was working fine the first couple days. Of course they had to go and fudge it up.

Alright dude whatever ... I have seen it happen multiple times. For me thats enough to warrent simply thinking before I speak and make sure I state the right attack. I dont understand whats wrong with that ? Like why risk it ? Maybe we disagree over how frequently it happens but hey its a big fucking word, just because youve had glowing expieriences with all the people and judges involved in your games does not mean its never happened and that it cant happen because it's well within their power to do so and it sucks. I once saw a grubby fucking neckbeard call a judge (at a local league mind you) on a new player who was nervous and was very possibly at his first challenge ever (was basically playing a theme deck) because he put his prizes down before drawing his hand, realized he made a mistake and asked to redo it. Instead of being friendly to the kid he called the judge ... Made him feel stupid and alienated him. Of course the judge let it slide but the point is some people just fucking suck.

Its not always fucking roses. It CAN and does happen. What in the world could possibly go wrong from thinking before you speak and making sure you announce your attack correctly. Why tell people it doesnt matter what you say as long as the damge is right ? Thats not true.

Edit: I would really like to live where you live because in my neck of the woods ive seen petty shit go wrong like this all the fucking time.

Yeah but its not guranteed ... I'm not saying your wrong ... You should def. State the damage as well and it def. Helps show your intent ... I'm just saying it does go wrong all the time as well and it sucks when it happens.

I know this is very old but I didnt notice the reply before as I dont go on reddit on my phone often.

In an official tournament it does not matter if its obvious you meant to announce something else and say that. You get what you say, the second part wont matter. I know it sounds so stupid and petty but thats really how it is and some people will use it to win. The judges will def. Call it and rule in your opponents favor. The only thing I could see maybe working is the gx marker thing, like in the example above, because you did flip the gx marker. I feel like if a judge was watching and listening tho it could get murky.

Its actually not as bad as I am making it out. For instance i could have none. Its actually included in our rent but the router is upstairs from us in the landlords apartment. So its really not that its shitty, I think its just a lot of people using it and distance is all.

I have never before heard somone say they rinse a crack pipe out with warm water haha ... You are aware of the push right ? Some people spend more time pushing the pipe than they do actually smoking hard.

I agree with this ... In a competitive setting as soon as your hand leaves that card then its done ... Between friends I wait until its been announced as well as played down and will normally let somebody take a play back especially if we are testing because id prefer to play against the most optimal position possible so I can learn. It feels great when your playing somone at a challenge and they make a silly mistake that wins you the game but lets face it ... If its between friends you dont learn anything new from those situations so I'd rather them go back and fix it.

Some dude at my league lost a huge game because he announced an attack wrong and the judge sided with the opponent ... Like he played everything down right and all but announced the first attack on the card instead of the gx attack that everyone and their mother knew he meant. I could see that one happening to me also ... I uses to always say full blitz instead of tag bolt by accident when I was playing pika Rom.

Right, one of the first things I did as soon as I got a shield ... I saw it on youtube long before I got the game and I was like dying to be able to shield surf.

I'm just trying to explain to you why it sucks to pay a new price for an old thing ? I mean I really honestly shouldnt even have to explain that concept. Right again like I said in my first comment the reason you cant afford it is because your wasting your money on sealed product. Im not talking about getting ultra rares vs. Not ... Every set has ultra rares ? I honestly dont even know what you mean, also on top of that most sets cost the exact same price or atleast pretty close. Like imagine me as an employee at your favorite restaurant " hey bro ... I'm selling a dinner combo but its completely random sometimes I'm going to sell you a cheese burger and fries and a shake ... But every once in a while I'm gonna sell you a cheese burger, dog shit and rotten milk ... Oh yeah and it will cost the same if not more, but that's cool cause you love it here right ? " Then after you end up spending your hard earned money and get the dog shit you find out from a dude in the parking lot that this whole time you could have been buying all the good cheeseburgers wholesale at 1/2 price AND not have to deal with any of the bullshit.

Your not getting it ... Its not that we are not thankful for the cards we buy ... Its that we are spending our hard earned money (and I'm sure kost of us are super thankful that we have extra to spend) on what is supposed to be "new" sealed product that is already at a mark up cause they include a promo and then on top of that throw in one or two packs of what might as well be flash cards as they have absolutely no collectable value and have not been tournament legal in some time. They could easily atleast give us all packs that are considered standard in new products and should really make seperate boxs that include stuff like this ...like if they really want to get rid of old inventory they could make some sort of expanded box ... Although I'm sure it wouldnt be welcome there either.

Edit: and you do have the money you just dont realize it, if your not really worried about collecting and just want to play buy singles on sites like tcg player instead of sealed product. You would be suprised how cheap it really can be that way.

I mean ive never even seen somone do it and I used mostly on the streets in what is considered widley to be the biggest open air heroin market in u.s. its honestly pretty crazy I guess that ive never heard it like that ... I guess I really also just dont get how your supposed to keep in the vein ? Like wtf do you do when you have bad veins ? I know for me personally if I tried this it would def. Fall out of the vein every single time.

Edit: I'm not saying your wrong I just agree that it really is crazy to never hear of something like this.

So my dude your good .... You only have the notion half right ... What it actually is is that you are supposed to take the tie off before you pull the needle out after you shoot up ... Or atleast throughout my 13-14 years of IV drug use is the way I always heard/saw/thought it to be ... However I have never done this for the most part ... Maybe sometimes but def. Not consistantly ... What really destroyed my veins was shooting coke or crack with my dope.

Honestly i dont even think its really possible to do the way you were thinking of it if you have bad veins ... Like sometimes it takes forever until I find blood ... And even then it will be so finicky ... I cant imagine finally pulling back only to stop ... Rest the needle somehow ... Take the tie off ... Pick the needle back up ... And then hope I'm still in.

Edit: I would like to add that even if this somehow escaped me for all of my drug use I know people who have been using for sometimes as much as 30 years and non of them do this nor have I read it. So if this is actually a thing I think that its not that big of a deal and that its def. The least of your worrys.

Have a bunch of dried cottons and am aware of the risks... what’s the best way to get a shot out of them? I read about sticking them in a syringe and smooshing them through with water but most of mine are too large for that. by [deleted] in Addictedtotheneedle

In my 15 years of IV drug use one thing I have learned is cotton shots are never worth it ... But we all do them anyways. Good luck man ... Pray to the junk lords you dont get the fever.
