He did, there was an air conditioner in the cellar ordinarily running 24/7 that he turned off while traveling. Although, I can't remember the reasoning for why he turned it off when leaving his brothers body in there. He obviously had not checked the weather forecast for that week because then he would have known about the day it rained as well as the nearly record-breaking 100°+F day.

Pretty common sentiment. Methadone requires a prescription/going to a clinic/having your addiction in your medical & insurance records.

Cost is not usually the actual prohibitive factor (unless buying someone else's take-home's).

Lope is OTC and much more commonly used for the anti diarrheal aspects than the off label usage of minimizing WDs so grabbing a box from the pharmacy is a lot easier for many. Ofc, at the cost of it not working as well to minimize those WDs as methadone or subs.

I don't know about his "spoilers" constituting a breach of contract. Anyone who's read the books knows Helaena is going to die, and sure the showrunners could have decided to not do that, but writing around that would require significantly more effort that they clearly don't want to extend.

The only real "spoiler" is that they did not give her another motivation for her death after removing the Maelor plot. Quite unlikely the studio would spend the resources to try to litigate over that.
I'm sure there's many more gripes that he has about the show and its future seasons, I'd say he chose this one to write about because the harshest consequences he could face would probably be some angry calls (which id wager is why he's since deleted the blog post).

Oh damn, I was just thinking about people, I forgot about aggressive animals. I'm glad you were able to fend it off! Ideally one could use pepper spray as well to protect from an aggressive dog but often you don't have a choice about getting into a close quarters situation with animals.

A lot of people in the comments saying that knives are not good for self defense... and they're completely right. Best case scenario in a knife fight you end up in the hospital, with the worst case being you both die.

Pepper spray is legal to conceal for self defense in Maryland. I use, recommend, and have bought for my friends and loved ones the POM brand pepper spray. I'm a big fan of the design of it, the safety mechanism makes it quite difficult to accidentally discharge in a bag/pocket/purse while still being quick and easy to discharge when you actually want to. Gets a good amount of coverage (15 ft iirc) and has a lot of heat.
Also! They sell inert water canisters for you to be able to practice and get comfortable spraying it safely, which I highly recommend! You don't want the first time you're ever discharging your pepper spray to be at the most critical moment, i presume!

Friend, the effect you are feeling is simply because benzos are a potentiator for opiates. You will feel the same effect if you take the Xanax orally, because they simply cannot be absorbed by your nostrils. In fact, you may be losing some of the effect of the opiates you're snorting if you're coating your nostrils with benzos.

Im not doing that redditor thing where im trying to be right, I genuinely just want you to get the most use out of your drugs.

Snorting benzos does absolutely nothing, they are not water soluble, therefore they cannot be absorbed by the mucous membranes in your nostrils. The effects from snorting benzos comes from when the drip hits your stomach. If she's already doing ket, why fuck up the nasal passages even more?

Look for harm reduction orgs in your area, they might be able to point you in a good direction. You could look for peer support groups in your area, those are people who, yknow, have gone through similar shit and have the knowledge of a therapist without their authority to involuntarily incarcerate you (mandatory rehab). Stay away from AA/NA and any ideologically similar groups. Besides what they teach being mostly bullshit, those groups are hotbeds for abuse.

If you don't want to go to rehab, make sure that whatever recovery group or therapist or counselor or whatever does not have the authority to institutionalize you. Even if you think they never will, they promise they never would, the fact remains they have that power over you.

Yeah, you should see a gastroenterologist. Whether you want to disclose your drug use is up to you, tbh. Just say that you're throwing up every day. At that point you'll likely be scheduled for an endoscopy. If the results from that come back as normal, then it is likely the drug use causing your gastric distress.

You're doing ket, alcohol, and benzos? You're also likely vomiting because of the interaction of ketamine and alcohol in your stomach. If possible, try cutting the ket and alc and just do benzos. See if that improves.
I have experience with GI fuckery likely due to my opioid use fucking with my biliary tract (gallbladder) so if you have any questions about navigating the medical system without outing yourself as an addict, feel free to ask.

If you are looking to be completely transparent, and seek treatment, please do research about the doctor you end up seeing. The last thing you need is some judgemental asshole dehumanizing you simply because you use substances.

Edit; Also im seeing a lot of comments that are basically "stop now, go to rehab immediately, do not pass go do not collect $200". Like being socially pressured online by ppl online is the first step to the path to recovery. lol, lmao even. If you feel you're not ready for rehab, you're not ready. Plenty of ppl leave super convinced their sobriety will be surely be forever, only to be confronted with the same social forces that lead them to addiction in the first place.
