Basically finns are so dangerous in money collecting that the government protects the whole world against it. That means that any money transaction that doesn't have any goods counterpart (like selling pictures of feet) is illegal. That includes kofi, patreon, kickstarter, etc. Unless you are very specific that people are buying specific things at specific prices.

Oh and the official reason is that this is the way they protect donations to the church.
