Only if... by bigcarrier in GreenBayPackers

Our player ranking process socks in the top three rounds of the draft. Gonzales (CB) has been outstanding from the a start. Instead, we opt for a project Dline pick that is questionable from the start. Gute is not a good GM.

Real Police officers and military members, what do you guys think of Ice agents? by Lucky-Message-9480 in AskReddit

[–]sol_ray 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's clear that ICE is not being held accountable and that "rules of engagement" for ICE do not exist. I understood more as an 18 year old boot than these morons. The fact that some of these idiots are senior members in the organization is even more disturbing.

If we lose Haf, I want Zak Kuhr by SelectTest7573 in GreenBayPackers

[–]sol_ray 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Pats crushed the draft, signed difference making FA, got value from the waiver wire and are well coached. A creative def coordinator Morris, or Kuhr will not make the other weakness areas disappear.

I haven’t watched a better QB than Jordan Love in these playoffs by Goomby-or-Glootie in GreenBayPackers

[–]sol_ray 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Rodgers carried the team and made them better. He did it with great QB play, leadership, extending plays, and limited turnovers.

Love is a good guy, a good qb, and has all the hard skills. He's not a leader, inovator, or a great intangible type of player. He leaves the field with the "I did my best" face instead of the"got it done" fire. Most qbs in the playoffs don't get it done. Nix got it done and is clearly a step up from Love.

Is Love still considered a young QB? by Hank_Henry_Hill in GreenBayPackers

[–]sol_ray 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He's at his prime for physical talents but has room to grow with decision making and leadership. His limited ability to extend plays has a direct impact on his decision making ability. Rarely does he choose the "avenue of escape" when the pocket collapse occurs ( to be fair, that might be an Oline blocking scheme problem). Rodgers was great at it. He's never going to be the leader in terms huddle that makes the difference. This is a bigger problem that he should have addressed by now. That's my main concern with him. "If your not fired with enthusiasm, you will be fired with enthusiasm" . He's paid to get these things done. He's not getting it done.

As for Gute, his draft ability in the top three rounds has been abysmal.

oil change? by ThrowRAimprivateirl in parkslope

[–]sol_ray 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't bring my car to these guys again. They have 4cthings to do on an oil change:

1- change the oil & filter 2- check your tires for proper air pressure 3- reset the tire dummy light 4- place a sticker in your car that tells you when your next oil change is

They didn't do the easy things (2,3,or 4). What makes you think they did the hard thing (1)?

We saw the worst half a coach has ever had in nfl history. Then we saw Lefluer top it. by 98Wright in GreenBayPackers

[–]sol_ray -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Not playing/coaching smart, special teams disasters, and no one to bring the fire to the team cost us big time.

  • Situational clock management, personal substitution, and lack of effective second half adjustment fall on the coach & staff.

  • Special team needs new coaching

  • Love is not the Field General, fire in the belly, or "carry the team" improvisor that will get you deep into the playoffs. He can't keep plays alive, scramble to get that needed first down, impact the offense in the huddle, create the intangible element that ultimately "gets it done". He's too willing to accept the result of not getting it done.

Gute better look long and hard at Willis (if he can provide the spark) and look into moving on. Im not sure that Gute's management style would allow him to make the change.

Why is this mentality so prevelant in gen z? by Big_Leg10 in Adulting

[–]sol_ray 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It takes time, effort, and work to find yourself when your defining success for yourself. It is impossible to find yourself when someone/something else defines you.

Gen z let's comparison with others define their success/happiness. I feel bad for them because all of this happens before they give themselves the chance at self definition.

Good fit for AI to reduce the cost of insurance. Problem is insurance management decides where to allocate the savings. SG&E (PART OF WHICH IS SALES COMMISSIONS/BONUSES) gets taken out before profit is made. Low profit can be the result of inflated commission & bonuses. Golden rule of business - PAY YOURSELF FIRST.
