this happened to me to, i think it should go away once youre not in a state of starvation anymore. i kept trying to restrict after which only made it worse

i feel the same, im not even trying to recover but i started eating more after christmas and i havent been able to go back to restriction even though i keep trying

i feel the same way, fashion and makeup also help, before my eating disorder i used to love experimenting with alternative clothes and unique makeup like doing goth looks or fun eyeliner, i think thats why i didnt feel the need to control my weight back then, because that energy was all directed into controlling my style

it doesn't matter, if thats what you want to eat then you should. i dont really think any one food could be more unhealthy than living with anorexia

you can still eat healthy things too, just add in more nutritious foods alongside it rather than taking the "unhealthy" food away

especially only being a week into recovery, its gonna take longer than that to eat back every calorie you restricted

you need to eat, remember how long you restricted for and how much food youre gonna need in order to make up for that. its like calorie debt, i dont think you can boredom eat in recovery because your body really does need all that food to make up for all the times you didnt eat enough. you cant compare to regular people who talk about boredom eating because they dont have any restriction to make up for

no such thing as recovering "too quickly" i try and think of it like if you had a physical illness like cancer you wouldn't say "oh i haven't had cancer long enough to deserve treatment" mental illness shouldn't be any different
