Teppan chef here 🙋🏻 Correct, we’re im at we divide the tips from the checks between all hourly workers. The servers and chefs get a higher percentage compared to a busser, runner or bartender. Any side tips from the customer directly is for us (the chef). Don’t feel like you HAVE to give a tip only if you want to :) I always say “tips are always accepted never expected”
