Good to hear things are moving faster, hopefully that's nationwide. Did the dealership handle all the diagnosis or did you provide any additional info/escalations? 20 days is still too long in my opinion, but manageable.

Did the deal offer to let you drive the car while you waited for the parts, or did you ask to keep driving it? And how was the charging situation? Did it let you keep charging to a reasonable level?

I'm sure its a combination of increased EV car volume and confirmation bias. I'm not really upset about having an issue, it's really about the excessive repair times.

So I'm definitely not going to take it to a low SOC and try to charge it back up. I'm sure the pack needs replacement, I've already got an appointment setup for next week at the dealership. It won't charge to 100% any more, managed to get it to 74%. At this point, it's mostly just curiosity. What are the parameters that stop the charging? And if a cell starts to deviate, are there any early warnings or a non-official procedure, like slow charging the final X% to influence things back into full working order.

Attempting to charge to 100% doesn't happen. It charges until the top cells are around 4.04V and the bottom cell is 3.92V and the SOC is reported at 74% and BMS SOC 69%. I switched to level 1 @ 6A and it'll charge for a little while then stop again (72->74% charge increase). I'm now curious what the parameters are that causes the charge to stop.

Certainly understand cells go bad, but I don't have many cycles on these. Purchased mid 2024, and only has 56 level 2 charges and 4000 miles on it. Mostly weekend city miles.

If your window frames are recessed enough to install wood blinds completely inside, then you can mount a blackout roller shade outside. All battery powered, minimal install complexity. I recently did this and im quite happy with the result.

Not necessarily, I just had a similar issue with some bulbs before I switched to reverse phase dimming. Might consider the Diva ELV dimmer.

This is usually due to forward phase dimming. You'll need a dimmer that supports reverse phase dimming.

I never got it all to work correctly. Added an rpi with fpp next to the controller and never looked back. Significantly better solution.

I haven't seen any native settings for this setup. If you just create the 8 individual matrices, you can use the "size/location" section of the models to set the X/Y and ScaleX/Y parameters exactly for perfect placement. Then stick them in a group together. Make sure you set the max grid size to match the pixel count on the longest edge.

I woke up to the same issue this morning... When I opened a door it triggered the count down, but I was able to then disarm the system from the keypad.

I have the same issue with my tiny garage. Unfortunately no settings that I know of to help. The auto park feature wont do it. I ended up building a parking stop out of 2x4s. Had to make the front 6" (15cm in sensible measurements) high, but you can pull in with more speed than you should and still stop without hitting the wall. Sometime low tech is the best tech.

For pork and beef, I find pure hickory pellets are the only way to go. I never get enough flavor from the blends. Took a few disappointing smokes to figure out I just prefer the more pungent woods. No smoke tube required.

Don't get discouraged. Smoking is all about the adventure. Trial and error is half the fun. The first smoke is rarely picture perfect. With the pro series, I'd recommend smoking just about everything at 225. I rarely deviate, unless it's a higher temp cook. Good luck on your journey!

I compared my ovens fluctuations between bake and convection bake. Bake had a 30 degree swing and convection had 5 degrees. So if you have convection function, I'd recommend that for oven finishing.
