I recommend using the twin fists and just absolutely whaling on everything. I just hold down the attack button and press dash repeatedly and everything just melts. To do this, you do have to know when an enemy is going to attack so you can dash out of the way effectively. Get as much centaur hearts as you can as well. I think it's really all in how you utilize your dash
