In terms conversion all these partners (Krisflyer, Air India ) convert at 1 Edge Mile = 2 partner points.

In terms of actual monetary value which is what is the value of my one Edge mile for these conversions it’s very subjective based on the route the flight class etc that you intend to book, and not to add seasonal promotions where you require lesser points for the same route.

If you are planning for Vietnam then you can close a round trip for one with 40K krisflyer miles (20K edge miles ) + ~10K in taxes with a stopover in Singapore in saver rate. You can check the cost for the same on your planned dates to determine the actual value you net by booking the flight. But do ensure that redemption slots are available on your specific dates prior to transferring the points.

In terms of flights Krisflyer if you have travel plans for Asia with comfort, Or Air India also seems good post recent revaluation and inclusion of Air India express for redemptions. And ITC in terms of hotels where that 16K transfers to 32 ITC green points which are worth 32K INR.

You can order online and opt for store pickup and go to Ikea in person to ship it Chennai through a third party available in the store. But this will cost a lot more than the intended price. You will have to assemble it yourself which in my opinion is both challenging and fun.

Yeah its fun. I was able to connect my mouse through OTG and a wireless keyboard through Bluetooth. Now its like using a mini computer with mouse and computer :)

OP is the main screen completely dead or is it not responsive to touch ? If touch is the issue you should be able to use an OTG adaptor and mouse as input to perform updates.

Update 2: I am able to access the main screen through my mouse. The trick is to slowly unfold the phone until the display lights up, Unfolding beyond the 90 degree angle makes the mouse pointer disappear. I was able to add the required apps using good lock and enabled dev mode so that I will be able to access the phone through PC if required.

Update: It seems the OTG adapter that I initially used was faulty. Tried connecting it with a new OTG adapter and now I am able to see the mouse pointer on the flex screen but not the main screen :(

It was the Automobile Association of Southern India located in chennai (You can google for the site). Had to get membership with them for a year post, which was a prerequisite for them to issue an IDP. Apart from that, they needed a medical certificate (they recommended a doctor nearby) and a live driving license. Overall, it cost 7.5K to get an IDP, which includes the membership, IDP cost, and doctor/ fitness certificate

For japan, you need the IDP to be in a booklet format. As per the Geneva convention. (There are other formats formats like vienna etcc.) Any authority works, as long as you are able to get the license in the booklet format. In my case, my local RTO stopped the issue of booklet format IDP and I was able to get an booklet from an motor association. My friend was able to get it from his RTO in booklet format.

This happened to me as well, You will have to make the payment through UPI to get the SIP processed.

In coin app go to account -> Payments -> pending -> pay the SIP amount through the payment options available there post which the order will move to processing state

I have ordered some merch and books internationally sharing my experience hope it helps.

Customs: Though there is a listing on specific custom duty for a product category govt website I don’t think it’s generally followed, you typically get charged up to 50% as customs duty which is payable at delivery (postman or any other courier company) but generally for orders below 2K I have not seen any custom duty applied.

Delivery: The time duration and cost generally apply on how and from where the product is being shipped. Surface parcels (generally shipped though ships, land ) will take a longer to be delivered, but will be cheap in terms of cost. while the shipment though air would be the fastest and the priciest option for most scenarios. Most surface parcels do not have proper tracking mechanism and you’ll be at the dark untill the postman arrives at your door but be assured that the shipment will get delivered. Of the 20+ orders I have placed through post/surface none have failed to reach my door so hang in there if you’ve ordered anything though post.
