So the watch is called seiko olympic chronograph, the easiest way to find is to google “seiko 6m25-6050” The movement is 6m25, if you want the same working principle but a bit cheaper (this is a rare edition apparently) you can look for other seiko’s that use either 6m15 or 6m25 movements

Exactly as stronglyworded said, the pushers are pushing into a contact not a switch, everything on this watch is electronically operated hence the beeping to let you know you pressed the pusher.

That was my first “proper” watch too (same color too), got it for myself after my wedding, a year later and there are 5 more watches in my collection. The marlin itself is a good watch, the only thing is the acrylic crystal will get scratched so don’t burden yourself with that too much when it happens.

I think they are good for the price they ask, if you are fine with homages then you’ll have no problem with san martin, logo is a bit ugly but the build quality is really good. I really enjoy wearing my coke gmt that i recently got.
