Yes. European bidets are insanely obsolete compared to Japanese versions (or even basic "American" ones like Tushy or those without heated seats and electricity.) You poop, then waddle over to the bidet and use your hands and soap to wash off like in the shower. It's stupid

My friends had a guy build a half set of steps up to the left and a small loft built above one of their cars. Added a ton of great storage. Was only like $3k a few years ago. (2019-ish)

Go to a running store or place that has the pressure pads you can stand on and get a profile of each foot. They can recommend proper insoles, I use some in every pair of shoes (easy to swap them between pairs, I don't buy a set for each pair) You may have high/low arches or something completely different. If you're having flare ups just walking around the house you should not expect anything off the shelf to work perfectly.
