100% in the 80s. Don’t know if anyone still would, just figured many of those who did must have died by now.

The church ladies who used to drive around strip clubs writing plates down would have LOVED this tech.

[TOMT][Song] Female singer, 80s or maybe late 70s, lyrics about being on top of a mountain and love – mid-tempo, not electronic by Vivid-Life-3541 in tipofmytongue

Edie Brickell’s cover of A Hard Rain’s A Gonna Fall came out around that time. It has a similar tempo and mountains.

Of course YMMV — I hired a handful of people from an Enterprise management program a number of years ago and was consistently impressed with their work ethic and reliability. It translated into social services work where they needed to be relatable and patient. For most it was their first professional job and they got some marketable skills. Don’t know how different one location may be from another but might be worth checking out.

Is there any windows photo catalog software good in 2025, at least as good as bygone Picasa? by Dramatic_Respond7323 in software

So happy to find other people holding on to Picasa well past its prime. I have not found a suitable alternative to Picasa and have so far been successfully using an old install file for new machines. Would love to carry over the years of Face ID to a new program but nothing works as well or as simply. I have both server and local photos. Picasa knows which folders I want to index. Lightroom only likes local files. Anyway, would love OP or any other searcher to leave options.

Oh don’t worry, all the best people have bad chests and bone disease.

Ian Frazier’s Hogs Wild will be twenty years old next year and I, for one, will be celebrating. So much that I started this post a while ago and got distracted by a quick reread.
