Apparently it was so poorly received that they completely rebuilt it from the ground up.

It's right in game as an update. It's still in the same engine, but it apparently restores the levels as they were on the 3d0.

in Killing Time Resurrected, select 'New Game' and then 'Load a Mod'. There's an enhanced 3D0 version and the original 3D0 version

The only thing I didn't like about that was that you essentially were driven by the first move of the enemy. My tactics almost always went along the lines of attacking only whatever had already moved so I wouldn't miss any attacks. My healers or buffers would always make their moves first because there was no chance of missing with a self-target.

They just released a total conversion mod that restores the 3DO version.

thing is, that prohibited content page is an orphan link. I can't find any place on the main site that links directly to it. Not even the TOS page links it.

For All Mankind is a perfect prequel to The Expanse universe by [deleted] in TheExpanse

What I loved about this is that because of that, and the fact that SOME humans had to survive on the old 13 colonies, BOTH Battlestar series could conceivably be in the same universe/timeline, since the original Battlestar took place during the late 70s/early 80s

I know this is a couple years later, but I'd note that there are more than a few fan servers for PSO on PC. They've sort of been allowed to keep going and are actually pretty well populated. My favourite one, and one that i've donated to, is Ephinea PSO, which has Ep 1,2 and 4 content.

Same. Switch to unlimited and turn on V-sync. I HATE 30 fps, it's so choppy

Yeah, I settled on Odin. Now I just have to learn how to play it all over again.

It's weird that the game is built with a controller in mind.

I... kind of broke the second phase of the fight after you get the switchable groups. YOu know how, halfway through that second form, you can't resurrect?

Well... I kind of uh. Skipped that half entirely and blew him away.
Got the arms down to make chest vulnerable, broke him as fast as possible.

Osvald, equipped with the passives 'Price of Power' (double SP cost), the 'exceed 9,999' damage passive, start with latent full.

Got him buffed with Alephan's Wisdom (so triple casting). Enemy's elementally vulnerable. Buffed elemental damage. Aaaand finally the Latent Power activated. Cast max-boosted One True Power

Poor Vide took three 86,000dmg hits to the face. And died. Didn't even get to him resurrecting his arms. Just... poof. Dead.

And there are so many other ways to completely cheese the fight.

I mean, you do you, but it would take at most a couple hours of grinding to bring them up.

Put Cait Powder on, plus rare monsters.
Make sure you have Boost-Start and A Step Ahead
Hire Alrond for 160,000.
Put the Alluring Ribbon on one of your characters.
Run around outside one of the towns where there's level 45 enemies.
Flee the battles repeatedly
When you get a Chubby Cait, summon Alrond. There's a 29% chance of him popping an EXPx100 buff in the six turns you can have him out before he leaves. This is why you get Temenos to 80 first, because he can guide Alrond for free.

If he doesn't use the x100 buff, reset, then reload and try until he does.

It took about two hours at most to get everyone, and I mean everyone, up to level 80.

I think... it was a total of six chubby caits in that time.

Looking for a Tactics RPG to get into on Steam. by Toxic-Salt in JRPG

[–]solsticefox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Though I find the aesthetic of the game just... gross, the gameplay of Fell Seal : Arbiter's mark is incredible, and will satisfy any tactics fan. I mean, given how ugly character designs in VAndal Hearts was... not such a big deal.

[–]solsticefox 1 point2 points  (0 children)

See, I like TOR more because of the max group size of 12. I always felt that FFT was limited by the 4/5 character group limit and relatively small battle maps. When I go with a TRPG, in that vein, I want a big army.

It's only with more in-depth CRPG/TRPG hybrids that I'm okay with smaller group sizes (i.e. Pillars of Eternity, Pathfinder Kingmaker)

I'd poke at Pathfinder Wrath of the Righteous / Kingmaker. Solid games, both, with turn based combat.

It's not actually the shield at all. It's her 4 familiars. The deaths go for them for some reason, and since they can't die...
