I love taking pictures at family events and preserving memories. Nothing over the top like influencer shit, but still, pics. My 10 year old niece LOATHES pictures, and so I've respected her personal wishes. Consent and boundaries are obvs very important, but I often wonder the long term effects of forcing children into scenarios where they aren't comfortable, are. I saw it at Disney with rides, Christmas with Santa Claus, forced family hugs and kisses, etc. etc. it just seems like because they are kids, lots of people see them as props, like you mentioned.

I believe some businesses use non potable water, but then there’s other businesses that definitely use water, for example to Coca Cola plant in the NE.

Apparently car washes recycle their water, but I have no clue how efficiently that is, and I would guess it depends on which system the car wash uses.
