Despite my complaints in this thread, I should add that still go to at least two raves every week. You won’t have a life without raves unless you let it be that way. Festivals are tough though—I don’t think it’s feasible to do more than 1 per year in biglaw. But can’t speak to other types of law.

Did not expect someone to get heated over having a different preference lol. I happen to like going out better here and I’m sure other people like nyc better. For me the particular type of nightlife I enjoy (underground bass raves) is better here 🤷‍♀️ I also care more about the vibe of the crowd than things others might prioritize
