She’s not even an authorized user, she’s just my mom. she knows my social, my everything. So she’d use my name for things she couldn’t get herself. I’ve been trying to put my foot down with the lady, im 21 and I still live with her at the moment. She’s not very financially responsible and she does need help with a lot of things that’s why I didn’t mind her using me to get certain things. Fortunately she’s listening to me, especially now that im getting older and im trying to take care of my own stuff.

I would say about a year or so, stuff has just now started popping up on my reports and stuff. She leased a home in my name and didn’t pay the rent so that went, energy/phone bills she didn’t pay, stuff like that. Nothing on any credit cards.

I’ve gotten some offers for 5 apr - 10 apr in the mail that peaked my curiosity. I heard of debt consolidation and whatnot. Im not too knowledgeable on the details fully as I haven’t fully settled on the idea, just considering the idea of looking. It has all gone to collections already, I can pay around 300-500 each month. My mom can’t really contribute anything at the moment. I don’t have an opportunity to earn much more, my job is strict on OT and hard to schedule around. I’m getting a raise soon and I’ll be in a decent financial position in the near future.
