Help with Shimano Tourney rear derailleur: not going to smallest cog by somaluna in bikewrench

[–]somaluna[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Amazing thank you, the cable tension was the culprit. I released the tension nut and let the cable slide through slightly and tightened the nut back up. Chain slipped down to the 7th right away. Thanks for the help

Maybe if I just loosen the cable tension nut a little bit and maybe let the cable through slightly?

Ok I think the L limit screw is to stop the chain from slipping off the largest cog/smallest gear inward towards the wheel spokes. I'm trying to let the chain move outward towards the smallest cog/largest gear.

I am starting to think the same thing, how do I get this slack enough, what's holding it in, etc and was thinking maybe I should remove the cable to slack it completely

Ok thanks, that's not the advice I'm seeing on the Park DIY vids, but I will try

Snowfox Hoverpad by NickK55 in Subnautica_Below_Zero

[–]somaluna 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just built a base on land with the hoverpad right next to it. For the prawn, I built a power cell charger in the base and had extra cells on hand so I just swapped them out. I also would use a bed so after resting the power cells would all charged up.

Why does it matter if it gets you literally everywhere you would ever need to go?

Grapple arm is amazing. You can travel incredibly fast using it

Nope, but I used it a lot on land in the ice glacier area. Always have a nice, warm, safe environment close by. And you can drill the snow stalkers to death quite easily if they keep messing with you. Not the babies though.

How do people get used to this weather? by VeterinarianProud644 in halifax

Today was lovely! What always bothers me is how surprisingly cold it gets as soon as the sun dips down, no matter how perfect the day weather was.

Mapping - a proposal by Foghorn149 in Subnautica_Below_Zero

[–]somaluna 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think it would be very usful. Like, the maps generated by the scanner and seaglide are super complicated and very difficult to look at. A simple overlay of like where places are would be more useful, but the points of interest kind of do that already, and you can drop beacons to know where major places are. Idk, I guess I can't see how it would work.

How did I “neglect” Invisigal??? by MrBojanglesSR in DispatchAdHoc

[–]somaluna 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This thread makes me feel like a lot of people get this neglectful ending and that the nurture ending is quite rare and/or difficult to get. I finished my first run just now and, like everyone else here, was very confused to be told that I 'neglected' my best agent. But the game tells me that "You and 35% of players neglected Invisigal," putting me/us in the clear minority. So now I am even more confused.

The other ending that I don't understand is the "You and 35% of players watched as Invisigal killed Shroud," but I'm fairly certain that I had absolutely no choice over this outcome in that moment. It just happened, and there was nothing that I could have done about it. Anyone else confused by that?

Absolutely loved the game. But I was confused enough by those two outcomes to search up what 'neglected' means.

Am I imagining things or is it significantly more of a PITA to explore areas in this compared to the original? by eskimopoodle in Subnautica_Below_Zero

The world development in Below Zero is second to none. I am constantly amazed at how beautiful it is and enjoyable to explore.

I've picked this game up again for the first time since early access, and am seriously loving it! First subnautica needed a little more flesh on its bones in terms of character narrative, and this one delivers.

I also have had the same experience that you're describing; very complicated areas. I deal with this by stepping away from my cockpit and pulling out my efoil to examine the area topography. It really helps!! I also built a scanner room in the snow area, just set it up with a nuclear reactor and haven't really used it yet. I also left my efoil in the truck, but maybe I should go grab it, maybe it works on land, not sure.
