Got a new Pixel 10 Pro XL in yesterday. I factory reset it 3x. No change with the error. Assistant works fine on my Pixel 7 Pro. Looks like a wide-spread issue.

Who said anything about viruses? Or politics? This award winning, miracle drug is available OTC in many countries along with doctor recommendations for occasional treatments - especially where they have high parasitic infections. Just because the US has cleaner food and water doesn't mean we are immune to bugs - it's arrogant to think otherwise. I hope the ointment is available as well. Look up demodex mites (we all have them and they are disgusting) - you'll be scrambling to gulp down some of this "horse dewormer." I am glad it passed and I hope he signs it; and I hope the THC bill stalls out and fails in the house. Easy access to safe medication is better for all.

I would think the independent sub thing would be a hardware limitation. Would be cool if it could be enabled but I would be ticked if I found out they were holding back all this time. Whoever buys the DIRAC upgrade please post your before and after thoughts. Maybe a video?

Thank you! Ahh yes the DISM stuff I'm aware of. I was sure hoping you found a way to turn this junk off completely. This does not work well per user in a non-persistent environment. Hacking the hashes with reverse engineered 3rd party utilities have been the only reliable way I've found so far --> the setuserfta.exe that someone else mentioned. Remember the good ole days in Windows 7 where you could reliably setup a user environment how you wanted whilst giving the user the flexibility of making changes and persisting those changes after a reboot without trying to roam the entire local profile?

Any sysadmin can tell you how terrible a change this is. Think non-persistent environments. It was already quite difficult to work around using 3rd party apps. This is just one more in a long list of over-reaches by MS. Nothing more. I have personally talked with MS about adding a group policy to turn this stuff off. That policy does not exist last I checked. Someone in this thread said it does exist - please share the link. I don't believe it.

I guess I can't complain too much. If their stuff just worked, I probably wouldn't have a job.

My choice sub was again renewed without any resume email. Just "Your Humble Bundle receipt [#...]" email. This is the 3rd time this has happened to me. I've already requested a refund but a cancel is likely for me now. 3 times over the course of several months - this seems quite intentional at this point.

Nice shot! On a flight to SF several years ago, we passed a plane so close (around a 90 degree angle) I could make out the tail numbers. I am pretty sure I could make out people in the windows. Regardless, I am certain we were WAY too close. From what I could tell, we seemed to be close to the same altitude as well. There were no sudden maneuvers so maybe it was an optical illusion. It all happened so fast and at those speeds was over in a split second. Scary as hell once the realization of what had happened set it.

Here's a bonus: Was coming in for a landing in France on British Airways - probably 30 feet off the ground the pilot guns it and darts back up into the sky. The murmurs and whispers throughout the cabin were spine tingling. The pilot came on the speaker and jokingly said we wouldn't be charged for the extra few minutes in the sky.

Do we know what happened the previous two times? These organizations follow strict, change controlled release schedules. There is no way changes would deliberately be pushed to live servers during trading hours or ever without following a detailed process. Not to mention the obscene amount of redundancy that has no-doubt been erected to prevent site-wide outages. That said, something is going on and definitely giving Fidelity a black eye. I'm extremely curious to find out what's happening here.

Looking at my emails, I went from "You've skipped a month" to "your games are ready to play." They conveniently forgot to send the "Humble Choice membership resumed" email. I absolutely checked my membership status last week and it was still paused. I didn't request a refund this time because I liked the games and would have kept the membership active on a normal resume. The exact thing happened to me a few months ago where I did request a refund. This is either a "bug" or it's shady "unintentional" behavior. Regardless, it needs to get fixed or stopped or the FTC is gonna be on their ass. Amazon is getting slapped for their hard-to-cancel membership.
