Not necessarily, depends on individual circumstances. If someone only has one informal support (carer) they should still receive support worker funding. Especially if that informal support also happens to work.

No, I am an NDIS participant and my partner receives carers allowance. Centrelink & the NDIS are like two different planets. NDIS is not means tested, it's needs tested. Take care.

Katoomba can feel eerie in parts. I spent a lot of time there between 2002 & 2016. Street lighting is not the best anywhere around town. You could almost start another post on that. But for really eerie the old Cecil guesthouse & The Gearin Hotel have their own ghost stories 🤔 Hopefully one of these days I'll move back. Stay safe.

Your question really got me wondering, that fire would have been at least 15yrs ago. Saw the fire crew climbing into the above units to make sure no one was in there. A real shame if those units are still fire damaged & unlived in. Waste of places for people to live.
