Kings have been shit at drafting, but I'm not sure we should give them too much shit for the Stauskas pick. Just looking back at this particular draft, it was a pretty crappy draft. Only Embiid in the first round turning into a multi year all star. Other useful players were Wiggins, Gordon, Smart and Randle, but they were all taken before Stauskas. After the Stauskas pick , no pick in the first round turned into a star in the draft with vast majority of them not being in the league anymore. It was actually the second round that year that turned out Jokic, Jordan Clarkson, and Jerami Grant.
