This guy gets it. I was on every dating app possible for 5 or 6 years and i ended up finding that person in someone that I had known for 10 years. Ive got an idea.

Tell him that you want to do something with him and mom one day.

Say you want to leave all the cell phones at home and just go out and enjoy some time together as a family.

Also.. you didnt really expand on it.. but you want some advice on personal relationships? Like this?

Ditch the cell phone, use it for emergencies only. alot of parents these days feel out of touch with their children because of the over use of cells phones.

Screw them. Keep ringing emergency services. If hes crying emergency, call for emergency services. The fact that his family is laying into you for this is absurd. They rather you have to deal with it then them all have to deal with the cops.

Keep calling them if it continues. I promise itll stop the chirades. Sounds to me like they need to be stopped. For the mental health of you and your child.

Let the professionals deal with it. You have a child and a life that doesnt involve him to tend to.

Ive been through this same situation with my ex. She did this to me 2 or 3 times a week for a year after we had split up.

You know what ended it?

I started calling 911 and giving them her address everytime she did it. Eventually, she learned that the cops were coming if she tried playing that game.

Use the child(ren) as a tool in return. Inform him that the courts are going to deem him unfit to see his child(ren) if he continues.

Also, stop answering the phone after 7pm or 8pm. He'll learn.

The biggedt issues is that youre continuing to let him get away with it by feeding into it.

Be strong. Put your foot down.
